There are 4 slots in the clear plastic cover 30 mm from the corners on the long sides. The white plastic must be flexed outwards to get the clear cover off. A paint scraper works. The battery is fixed with double sided tape to the rear.

Yes it is loose in there on the plastic. The pressure from the other side holds it in place. You could install a small screw if you want to make sure it stays in place.

Where is the battery in the VeriFone 3730

Battery is located inside the machine. You need to open the plastic case to see it. 7 screws holding the case together, but be careful not to break the case, multiple sensors inside the unit, don't loose it. hope this help, if not them call us at (775) 358-2922 http://freshpoint.org : - )

How do I remove the cover of the black and decker angle grinder. It stopped working,I think a wire is loose inside, but i cannot get it open to see if I am right. Can anyone help? Thanks. Gerry

Hi Gerry,
The body of the grinder should be in two halves. Normally there are two or more screws holding the plastic parts together but these may be hidden behind plastic stoppers. See diagram:

http://servicenet.blackanddecker.com/Products/DetailDiagram?isId=true&productNumber=11651&selectedType=16337#

Remove the screws and it should be possible to split the case.

Hope this helps!

Drivers side front door will not open from inside or outside even using the key

Sounds like the clips that hold the rods, that operate your inside/outside door handles have come loose. You will have to get the door panel off...but first...you'll have to get the door open. OK...where your inside door "lever" is located....there is a plastic cover behind that lever.....also, there might be a small plastic access cover... over the screw that holds on this larger cover in place. If so....pop the little access cover off and there will be a screw behind it. (keep in mind...this is behind the inside door lever you pull on to open the door) remove the screw...remove the cover...you should now be able to see where the rod has come loose. if you cant grab it with your fingers, get a pair of pliers and pull forward ( toward the front of the car) to open the door. Make sure the door lock is off also. You may find the clip that holds the rod to the lever is broken or the rod has just fallen out of the clip. Sometimes, you can wire the clip into place so it dosnt come loose again. At this point, you will want to remove the door panel....because the "outside door lever...rod...is also loose...in which case you will need access to the inside of the door to fix it. Just remember, you only want to this once...so while in there...fix it right....

Doen Linksys sr224 support SRW224. I have SR224 & required one more switch...

Should be no problem. I would use the SRW224 as your main switch and hang the other one off one of its 100mbit ports.

Can't open drivers side door from the inside, this problem has occured before when the vehicle was still under warranty . is this an easy fix?

sounds like the mechanical linkage that connects the inside lever to the lock assembly is loose or disconnected. Remove the door panel and see if this is the case. I have seen plastic levers break not visible without disassembly

I need to open my Acer laptop case to solder to power switch

Hi there,
this may not be your exact model, but should give you a good general idea on how to get inside. The key is prying up the top strip, that seems like it is going to break. Use something plastic or wood if possible. A screwdriver will leave marks.

Dear jbanistr,

My wife and I just had this same problem (or at least getting the cover off) and have a possible solution. Safety first, unplug your machine from the wall. Next remove all the screws, three by handle, three on the bottom, one on the rear of the sleeve arm, one on the light bulb cover and one inside the lightbulb cover that goes sideways into the frame. I believe that's all of them but look for any that hold plastic-to-plastic or plastic-to-metal. Take note not to change the stich settings or else you'll have to find and set the number wheel and the adjuster to match, not fun. The way we did it was starting from the top, pry the case apart slightly and with a flat screwdriver gently lift the case over the three adjusting wheels so they clear. We then, with difficulty, pried the case the rest of the way open, with a really loud pop! A better way might have been to start pring from the bottom, but it worked. Reassembly was just the reverse, just fit the top first and put all those screws back in.

Hope this helps.
