Question about Philips HTS-3555 System
Playing DVD on my Philips Home Theater DVD Player HTS 3544 (similar to 3555, I believe) will freeze up after playing w/o incident for a few minutes. Once it freezes, I can occasionally get it to start again but only for a short duration nd then it freezes again. Oftentimes I will have to unplug the player to get it to reset so that I can remove the disc. Any Ideas?

Hi, is your DVD player anew one?if yes the lens that makes the CD play
is not OK.But if it's an old one, you can get DVD lens cleaner toclean
up the lens of the DVD player...
It's the problem of dirt inside the DVD player especially the lens area.
After cleaning up the lens and still does not play, you will need to replace the DVD player lens with anew one..
You can go to the nearest repair outlet for replacement of the lens ...
Hope you understand..
