Please tell me what you want to do, you want to install the windows 7 again or want to repair the start up issue? if you want to install again, insert your W7 disc to CDROM and boot up. on restart together with the brand logo at the bottom of the screen you will see function keys. try to look for boot option. then press that key. it will then give you the option where you want to boot your computer. choose your CDROM drive and save settings. let it restart and load to your W7 disc.

thanks

SOURCE: Toshiba Satellite won't boot up

While you have it in safe mode, make sure you back up all your personal data to a cd as is sounds like it is not going to last much longer. After you back up all your information....Documents, Pictures, Music...etc... Then I would reformat the machine with the original installation disc that came with the computer. That should fix the problem. Never even heard of a boot processor :)

SOURCE: toshiba satellite L25-s1194 wont boot windows

Is it giving you any error or out of the ordinary "beeping" as it is booting?
Usually the BIOS screen comes up if it cannot find an acceptable boot device.
Can you boot from an XP cd?
Can you boot into set up mode.. usually by pressing F1 or F2 on most computers. It should tell you just before the BIOS screen comes up. Enter into "set up" and make sure your boot order is correct.
You might want to reseat your RAM.
Check to see if the hard drive is coming on.

Boot to safe mode and see if you can log on. If you got this new and did not set one, you should be able to logon without one.

Are you using Windows 7 or Vista?

If so have you tried Windows repair using the Windows DVD? Boot off the winDVD and click on repair instead of install.

I need Toshiba Satellite L455D-S5976 (PSLY5U00Q01T) PC Notebook factory restore instruction

Hello there,
Newer Toshiba laptops usually have the ability to create recovery discs that will let you recover to "factory settings." Try this:

1. Click Start

2. Select All Programs

3. Select Recovery Disc Creator.

Recovery Disk Creator

4. Within the Recovery Disc Creator select Create

5. When prompted enter the first blank DVD and select Ok

6. When prompted enter the second blank DVD and select Ok

I hope this helps. Thumbs up if you think so.

My Toshiba satellite L455D-S5976 gets static with playback on a USB headset. Could this be a codec issue?

According to toshiba ,This computer came with Windows 7 installed. However, since the computer was manufactured, there's been a new audio driver released for Windows 7. This is most likely the solution to your problem. If there are CODEC problems, this (driver) is how manufacturers usually correct them.

Click the link below to download the driver. The driver is self-installing.
