Plantronics M165 language is Chinese. Can I change it to English?

Why would you want to change the ringtone on a headset. I think they are preset from the factory

I agree. After checking with Plantronics - no "ringtone" is used. Simply call notification is used.- Sorry.

I did this to my HF1000 Handsfree device this evening as I had mine in chinese language as well today.
Power up the unit the vioce will say power on, wait for silence then push and hold the Call button, the unit will speak the pairing instructions including the pair code of 0000. regardless of the language the voice will repeat the number four times, so even thought you might not understand it, you will hear the number repeat....
After a brief silence period, press and hold the call button again, the next announcement is the language selection menu. After the announcement press the Volume + (plus) button to change the langauge, this announcement is quite long. Wait for each announcement (they are maybe two full sentences long).

Press the plus (+) Volume button to again to change to the next language, wait the appropriate length of time and press the plus Volume key again, for the next language....

Chinese language is directly after English, and so you need to go throught the key press sequence about I think five times. English, then Chinese, Italian, Spanish then German, is the sequence I believe.

find settings (chinese = ??, japanese = ??)... then go to languages (chinese = ??, japanese = ??)... and change it back to English (Chinese ??, Japanese ??)

function, general option on screen which is the 1st option, select last option key operator, enter code 0000 unless it has been changed, then number 15 language default which is on the 4th screen item 1.

I jus bought a i9 phone and Im n Memphis, Tn. My phone is in Chinese and I need it in English. Cannot read the application or apps on the phone. Can someone help me get it to English

all you can is to reinstall your operating system. Buy a OEM ms98 english version.. then install. GOOD LUCK

go to settings--then go to phone settings--then go to language settings--then go to phone language
there you can change your phone's language to english if this is not possible contact your phone's website there you will find latest details.

i got one off ebay just a few fays ago and the language was stuck in chinese, so after just testing the MP34 i found out how to change the langauge into English.

Click into the 'two rotating items',
Then, go down to the 4th settings, i.e 04/11. This is Languages.
After entering that, click into the 2nd option. i.e 02/25. This is English settings.
And hopefully it should be done.

Menu-->settings-->world or region or international-->languages-->english
