Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

I think that the tv is trying to return to its last state and can't log itself into Netflix or something along those lines and it's confusing its brain. I pressed the power off button while I had Netflix on and it's just switching itself on and off now. Mines 4 months old so it can't be wear and tear.

SOURCE: tv lost picture and sound
TRY UNPLUGING SET FROM THE WALL FOR 1 MINUTE. PLUG SET BACK IN AND CHECK. IF PROBLEM PERSISTS TAKE IT TO A QUALFIED SERVICER. UNIT PROBABLY HAS A DEFECTIVE MAIN TOTAL ASSY.

Just had same problem today. Presumably you've seen the more recent solutions on other web sites regarding replacing the C330 capacitor. It appears to be an over-temperature issue. After trying to press all sorts of buttons, removing plug for a time, leaving off for a time, it just started to work again but I don't know how! The tv stands beside a radiator and this may have been on for a while and caused this problem. Will monitor situation before diving into its innards.

Please note: In order to operate both your TV and Sky+ with your Sky+ remote control, you will be required to switch modes e.g. to switch on your TV from stand-by, you would need to press "TV" followed by the "Stand-by" button. Then to change channel on your Sky+ you would need to press the "Sky" button followed by the "TV guide" button
