a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Reformat of external hard drive
Hi, You may want to try: 1. HP Utility Software (actually intended for flashdrives but I have tried it and it worked with my external USB drive)http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/serveroptions/us/download/23839.html 2. Partition Magic http://www.soft32.com/download_151.html (have used this likewise with no problems just don't forget to set in preferences your main drive as read only) Hope this be of some help and give you ideas. Pls post again how things turn. Good luck and kind regards.

SOURCE: drive will not copy files to it
The Macintosh OS may not work with the drive due to the file system on the drive was created with windows. The drive may have to be re-formatted with the Mac to work on it. Now I don't use a Mac so I assuming the OS will have a problem with FAT32 or NTFS format that windows uses....I could be wrong.

download Acronis Disk Director Suite via torrent. install the program. open the application. locate the drive that is not working. usually its labeled "unallocated". click on the "Acronis Recovery Expert" button. and again select the drive you want to recover/fixed. there are instructions on how you want the program to run its recovery. its pretty simple. bare in mind before running the application. your hard drive should be connected directly to your PCs USB port and not by any hubs. by this. your computer should be able to read your HD again.
