Windows server domain controller keeps restarting every ten min, error 'system ran into problem need to restart save all your documents,have promoted another server to the domain but still the same

"all these started when i promoted RODC into it." Did you mean add a RODC to the domain or did you actually try to promote a RODC to a RWDC? In order to promote a RODC, you have to demote it first.

It almost sounds like a conflict between your DCs. Have you tried shutting down the RODC to see if the problem goes away?

Open my e-mail address

"What is the domain for it?" *****@Domainname.com
Hotmail.com , yahoo.com
The Main enail providers you just add www. before the domain name without the @ symbol.

If it is of a customized nature like @surf.turf.jag.com then it could be from a personalized domain and you would need the instructions from that domain.

If you are trying to use a program you must program in your email and the easiest way is to go to google and search "Domainname email settings for external program"

The Microsoft Word Starter program was factory installed on the computer

This error occurs if

  • Windows Live Mail is set as the default mail client;
  • A Hotmail-type account (any account, including those on domains like hotmail.*, live.* and msn.com, that uses the Hotmail interface for webmail) is set as the default mail account;
  • That account is configured to use HTTP;
  • Windows Live Mail is not running when it is invoked by a sendmail or mailto command, like by clicking a link on a web page.

You can download an update to get it fixed. Get it from here: http://windows.microsoft.com/fil-PH/windows-live/essentials-other-programs

To work around the problem, ensure that Windows Live Mail is running before clicking a Contact us link or using the browser's or other application's Send by e-mail function.

I hope this helps!

I keep getting the following when opening or sending mail: The message could not be sent. The setting for your outgoing email [SMTP] server might need to be configured. To find the server settings for...

Quick summary:
It appears that email address does not exist - which is why your email program was unable to send the message. There may be a small typographical error in the address - which you would need to correct in order to send the message successfully.

Background:
The error message you received says the "domain does not resolve". That means your outgoing server (which is used for sending messages) couldn't find the information about the recipient's address -- and more specifically, the "domain" of the recipient's address. (That's the portion of an email address following the "@" sign.)

The error message indicates the domain of the recipient's address is "quickfireprocuctions.com". But a quick check of domain registration records indicates there is no registered domain by that name. And if a domain is not registered, there can't be any websites or email addresses which use that domain name.

However, there is a properly registered domain "quickfireproductions.com" (with a "d" rather than a "c"). That seems much more likely - as the combination of recognizable words ("quick" "fire" "productions"). That domain is registered to owners in Florida, USA. See details at: http://whois.domaintools.com/quickfireproductions.com

Solution:
If that registered domain name sounds right, then you should revise the email address in your message to use the correct domain name (i.e., replacing the "c" with a "d").

All the email in opera dissapeared and i can retrieve it

the issue might be a server connection error ..just use another browser like Mozilla or internet explorer for to log into your mail service ..and if you didn't deleted them ..they will be there.. Usually the mail domains ..keep the mails even in the trash folder for about a month ..so even if you deleted them by mistake you will be able to find them on the domain's web page ..
OR ..you just need to sign in again ..cause another person remained signed in ..or something like that ..
Just time the domain .in the search engine ..for ex..windows live ...or yahoo mail ..or what ever teh domain is..and the log in page will be displayed..Use your identification and password again and log into ..to read the mail ..
If you use a mail program ..like Thunderbird ..or outlook ...probably it is a communication with the server problem ..specially if it uses an smtp ..imap ..and not pop server to download teh mails and keep in computer ..

Run-time error'75' path/file access error .This keeps comming up trying to program XE-A203

Cause of the Error
This error message is generated only on a Windows computer when a read-only shared resource has share-level access control.
Resolution Methods
You can resolve this issue by using one of the following methods:

*Change the access permission on your shared resource from read-only to full control.

*If your Windows computer is in a Windows NT domain, you may use user level access to workaround the problem.

*You may use Win32 API calls to access your read-only shared resource on Windows.

Join Domain

This issue could be caused by a few things in your config. First things to look at is your networking (taken past the point of ensuring the addresses are proper, same subnet and so forth) - can you ping the DC and the DNS? If you can ping can you resolve with an nslookup? Are you using DHCP - is it running? Do you have an active firewall?

The suffix's at the end of your post are troubling - is this a copy and paste of the error message or was it keyed in? Do you have a copy of your DCDiag.txt?

Run some NETDIAG tests such as NETDIAG /d:domain and/or NETDIAG /fix which should provide you with more specific information that will pinpoint the issue (hopefully).

First timer installing a Server network

Well i'm just going to start where i would start. First off, how do your machines on the network get their IP? DHCP?

Is the first listed DNS server the AD server? 192.168.1.1?

Also make sure your using case sensitive domain information when your trying to connect. It is rare but i have had that be my trouble.

I have remote software available and would love to help you fix this hands on if possible. I live for network problems ;)
