Re: When i am talking on the phone, it goes to airplane...
This will help to reduce the frequency of this issue occurring. I have the same problem and have not yet found a way to remove the Airplane Mode option form the action bar pull-down for the Z998 phone. It is a ZTE firmware issue, not Android.
UNDERSTAND WHAT HAPPENS: when the phone moves slightly away from your ear while talking, the proximity sensor detects that it is not close to your face and it turns the display back on as it should. The screen often comes on with the action bar pulled down and thus all the controls exposed. A moment later your phone touches your ear before the proximity sensor had caused the screen to go blank again, so whatever your ear touches, can become an actual user command, even though unintentional. Unfortunately the Airplane Mode is one of the first selectable options on the Action Bar. You might sometimes notice that Bluetooth, Sound or Mobile Data gets toggle also; at least that does not cause you the dropped call. The problem gets worse when you walk or move around or fidget a lot while talking.
THIS HELPS: manually turn the screen off (press the power button) after you answer the call. Because you deliberately power off the screen, the proximity sensor is bypassed. The job of the proximity sensor is to turn on/off the screen to save battery (the reason of course that when the phone is against your ear, you cannot possibly also look at the screen, hence the proximity sensor turns it off for you). You will soon get in the habit.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Go into your settings and put your phone into airplane mode for ten seconds, then turn airplane mode back off.
If this does not work do a hard reset on your device by pressing and holding the lock screen/power button.
Perform a hard reset on your device by pressing and holding your lock screen/power button until your device powers off. If this doesn't solve your problem please set your phone to airplane mode for ten seconds, and then turn it he airplane mode back off. Airplane mode can be accessed through your cell phones settings.
First perform a hard reset by pressing and holding your lock screen/power button until your device powers off. If this does not solve your problem, set your phone into 'airplane mode' for ten seconds, and then turn the airplane mode back off.
If your device is powering off without you pressing and holding the lock screen/power button, unfortunately your device is power rebooting which can be a software malfunction or a dead cell in your battery.
all what you have to do is to de-active the airplane mode
and usually we are talking about one button not a long procedure
it's not a big deal man don't worry

in case of no use
Hello and Welcome to FixYa Ma'am The situations you are telling seems to be the problem of hardware, Actually water damages touch senses very badly, I had same experience with my other customers and i suggested him solution. Actually the problem is that the hardware of touch screen is very sensitive when water enters inside the Cellphone it disable the touch, As your phone is locked so its not allowed you to unlock it, In airplane mode phone is almost free from the main system because there is not a network integrate that time. So its may be allowing you to response in Airplane mode. If you are familiar with hardware issues of cellphones then open the cellphone and you need to dry the phone from inside, It will solved problem automatically but if you are not familiar how to open it then my best advise is to consult LG authorized service center. They will solved your problem. I wish i could be there for you to fix it but now you must do it as i advised you. Try this i hope it works Ma'am, Your Rating as Five Stars for this solution and Words of appreciation as Feedback for me will be really esteemed Thank You for taking my service
Airplane Mode (Motorola CLIQ™ with MOTOBLUR™) NOTE: Airplane mode turns off the wireless radio. This allows you to use programs while travelling on an airplane, but not make or receive calls. An Airplane icon appears on top of the signal bar when airplane mode is active. To turn Airplane mode on or off, refer to the following: ---------------------------------------
Using the Lock key
To use the Lock key to turn off Airplane mode, perform the following steps: 1. At the Home screen, press and hold the Power/Lock key on the right side of your phone.
2. At Airplane mode, tap On or Off.
Using the Settings menu
To turn the Airplane mode on or off using the Settings menu, perform the following steps: 1. At the Home screen, press the Menu key.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Wireless controls.
4. Tap Airplane mode to turn on or off.
it's a workaround, but it works if you're going to leave your phone unattended...
First, go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock
Turn the passcode on and create a password to protect your phone--set this to the time you prefer for your phone to go into locked mode.
Next, under the same Passcode Lock screen, set the "Show SMS Preview" to off.
Lastly, when you're going to be away from your phone, set the phone to Airplane Mode under general settings. By setting to airplane mode, you won't get any new information pushed to you.
If you're not in airplane mode, it will still show on your home screen that you received a text message from a specific number but it won't preview the message. In order to retrieve the message you will have to go into the sms function, which will require that you enter your passcode.
It's not perfect and it requires you to think about it, but it will work for you.
