SOURCE: my amp overheated on a Klipsch promedia 2.1

Sounds like your speakers had too many watts sucking from an amp that couldn't produce the power to feed them.
What is the max watt power output rating for your amp?
Compare the amperage of all the speakers combined and make sure they are 15% lower that the rating on your amp. Be sure to include the sub in your totals.
Chances are you've blown the power supply on your amp.
Have you tried any of these checks yet?

SOURCE: Klipsch THX subwoofer just stopped

Heat is the clue.

Generally speaking, an amp protects itself from heat, shorts, overloads and operator exuberance by refusing to turn on or stay on.

Overloads can be from excessive periods of high output or marginally low impedance loading by the speakers; and shorts would be wiring issues or a speaker blowing up.

You should be able to feel if it's hot. WHY is it overheating? Make sure it has sufficient ventilation on all sides and that vent holes are not blocked by dust balls. Ensure the fan (if equipped) is running as designed (some only operate on demand). Clean dust and debris from it.

If the amp comes back on after cooling, you're lucky. They only have so many self-protection cycles in their lives so continuously resetting or cycling their power without addressing the cause can do more harm than good.

If you can gain access to the subwoofer driver, disconnect one side of it and see if the amp comes up. The driver miight have shorted.

If it does not come up the problem is internal and should be left to an experienced and competent hands-on tech.

Cable is obviously broken inside earpiece, on one side only

Take off the rubber tip and with gentle but firm pressure slowly bend the tip between thumb and forefinger towards you. The cap and tips are not glued and are held in place by two clips which break easily so be careful! Hold the bud upright with the Klipsch logos facing away from you and bend the tip towards you. They actually separate really easily. When finished they just clip back into place.

My klipsch rw-10 transformer is broken.I want to replace it.

Check on line with Amazon or EBAY. You can find some really good deals on Klipsch repair parts there.
If you do not feel comfortable repairing it yourself take the replacement parts to a quality repair shop in your local area.

My Panasonic ER 203 with problem spring of

If the spring on the blade has come out, the blade has to be broken. The manufacturing process for this type of blade makes it impossible to take it apart without breaking the plastic that holds the spring. There is simply no way to effectively repair the blade.
You will need to replace the blade or the entire unit.

How to hook up speakers to emachine t3638? i have the klipsch 5.1 set

The EMachines T3638 comes with High Definition Audio support and you should be able to connect a 6 speaker system (1 subwoofer and 5 speakers).

I believe they are color coded as well. I believe the speaker set you are referring to is the Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1. Is that correct?

Below is the a link to the connection instruction manual. It is a pdf document that you can print out. The instructions for installing the Speaker set is on pages 3 & 4 under Signal Connection and Speak Connection.

http://www.klipsch.com/media/products/owners-manuals/ULTRA51MANUAL_ENGLISH.pdf

It should be pretty straight forward, but send me a note if you have any questions about the process.

Re: NAD 3150 speaker "clips"

Yes these clips can be replaced. There are a number of suppliers on the net that provide speaker parts. Look around and find one that will fit. As long as the hole is filled (no gaps) the speaker integrity won't be broken. The exact shape is not important. Figure on $2-$5 for the part. If you are looking for the specific NAD part, that will be a bit more difficult. I'm assuming that the clips are on the speaker not the receiver. If hte clips you are talking about are on the receiver end, this gets a bit more complex. Try calling NAD service and ask for the part. It may not be cheap, but there should still be some around.

Klipsch Speakers 4.1 died suddenly

Humm. Plug some earphones or another set of speakers into the computer and see if you get sound. That will at least point you in the right direction. And not to insult your intelligence but make sure the speakers are plugged into the green port.
