If there was no accident at all causing this then all you need to do is have the phone flashed at your nearest cell phone tech.

Screen will not light up.

Well as crazy as it seems, by dropping it you most likely damaged the backlight for the phone thus making it not light up anymore.

Razr phones are notorious for being damaged easily. There is little you can do but replace it or accept it the way it is.

Sorry for the mishap, and I hope this gives a little clarification on the subject. Thank you for stopping by Fixya.

My phone stopped working

You'll need a new phone. RAZRs die a lot, and they start their final journey this way - with smaller malfunctions that end up leading to death. Move your contacts to the SIM card if you get the phone to function again, and go get a new one soon. This one's on the way out.

Razr display stopped working.

My sister had the same problem with her Razr.
There was nothing she could do herself. She had to return it to the telephone company where she got it. I beleive they sent it to Motorola. It seems to be a pretty common issue. It's hardware related though.

I understand this is not the answer you are hoping for when posting a premium question. I just want to help you, don't rate me if it's not deserved.

I hope this helped you out (a bit).

Greetings,

DarkNeogen.

Razr help

Sounds like your phone's been through some rough treatment - try taking the battery & sim card off for a while - make sure there's no moisture & if you're still having problems, stop by your dealership shop & see what they can do.
