Lazer Have a TSS101L. Laser light is Red but no line shows up on the board. Put my hand under light and still not visable.

Simple use the set screw that positions the Lazer until it lines back up with you blade. When you remove the Lazer you have to remove the set screw. If it's not put back in the same position, then it will not be in line with you blade.

Forget it. The lazer site gets obscured and useless after 5 minutes of cutting. It is the most useless improvement I've seen on a power tool in 40 years.

The laser eimission might have stopped. The laser pickup unit [optical pickup unit] should be replaced.

Yes you need a new laser. The red beam should come on and go off only if its a blu ray disc or ps3 game then the laser will go to a blue beam and from there it should read the ps3 game or blu ray. If a dvd movie is in it the laser should light up red beam and read the dvd.

You may need to replace FORMATTER BOARD & DC CONTROLER BOARD ASSY which are located behind the printer. Both BOARDs are side by side together. Just open the back cover, you will see it.

You might have a bad lazer. the thing that reads the discs. try getting it checked it might be that. i reccomend play n trade goggle them

The entire laser assembly needs to be replaced. Your motor mount is dead, and your laser has died as well.

Typically, when your laser functions, it will move toward the spindle and then flash. If it doesn't do this, your laser is dead.

IF LCD TV has vertical lines try cleaning T-con board to lcd panel cable or replaced t-con board

what player do you have.
it can be the lazer thats dirty or the main board thats not taking in the info.

open the player.(remove the casing)
switch the player on
open the tray and then close it.(don't put a disc in.)
see if there is a red light shining at the lens.

if you see no red light your lazer is faulty.

if you do see a red light just take a cotton **** en gently rub it over the lens.

If you are attempting to use a red laser in daylight, you have to wear special glasses to see it well. You may have to complete this project with less light, such as after dark, or indoors. Only green lasers will show up in daylight. If this is not helpful, then I suggest that you change the batteries to brand new ones that you are sure of. There is probably no adjustment possible.
