SOURCE: Woods 6170 zero turn mower. The mower blades stop

MTD RH 125/92 mowing belt jumps off guide wheels when disengaging mower (even when really gentle disengaging). I understand there's an additional belt guide available from manufacturer - would that be any good?

Failing that can anyone advise?

SOURCE: craftsman riding mower blades won't disengage

Sounds like the shear bolt is broken, Do you have and owners manual to show you the location of shear bolt? They are easily replaced.

SOURCE: turn off mower blades the electric clutch spins and the two green

There should be a metal "anchor" that bolts to the chassis or engine. It has a rod that sticks downward, fitting into a notch in the clutch to keep it from turning. It must be missing or broken, or maybe the clutch is the wrong model, and that's why the clutch itself spins and rips out the wires. Good luck! Please rate if you found this helpful, thanks!

Dixon SpeedZTR 48 SE: When I want to start the blades, I pull the big red button. Now, nothing happens when I pull the red button

Probably an interlock switch is malfunctioning. Most common is the seat switch, but there are usually two or three interlock switches involved.

And it's also possible that the "big red button" or the electric clutch is bad. There's no way to tell without trouble shooting the wiring and components.

The mower starts but the blade switch won't conect yth1542xp

Husqvarna uses an electronic clutch to engage the mower deck. When the clutch works itself out of adjustment it will quit working. Sometimes it will blow the 20 fuse and the tractor will continue to run, but the blade won't engage. When you then shut off the tractor it won't crank again until you replace the fuse. When you attempt to engage the blades again, the fuse will blow again.

Follow this link for a detailed description of the adjustment process:

Should I buy a used 311 Dixon ZTR for my 1/2 acre yard?

Never buy one. Ever. Unless you have a mechanic from Dixon that will live with you to fix it every time you turn it on. I HATE it. If it isn't one thing, it is something else. Will not run. Tires a worthless. Seven thousand dollars of ****. Just call and complain and see if anyone cares. Nope. Cannot keep battery that works more than a summer. Nothing but trouble. Cannot get anyone west of the Mississippi to come to your house to service it. Must pull it in a trailer to get it serviced. Over all --junk. No one helps from Dixon, no one cares. Cannot wait until they go out of business. A sling blade would work better. Please get sheep or goats. Much more reliable.

Blades won't disengage

Hi,
When the mower is off and the clutch is disengaged you should not be able to physically turn the blade(s) if you can then you need to adjust the blade brake (look on the mower deck and you should see what appears to be a brake pad). Your owners manual will show you how to adjust. If you need a copy of the owners manual then I would suggest going to www.managemyhome.com and downloading a free copy of the manual for your mower (Need model number which starts is located under the seat).
Good luck!
