So then, you have purchased a computer panel that is designed for a "pay" machine., or perhaps for another model than you have.
(In that case, the "d5" would mean something else.)
Please look at "Sears Parts Direct" on your computer and see what they say as to your replacement panel part number.
What I do is then go to e-bay and search the part after I get the correct number.
I surely hope Sears will have the schematic for your machine.
God bless your efforts.

Samsung Washing Machine cleaning the pump & coin trap .....you could try installing a new pump to avoid the 5E error, fixing the pump will ...
Only the coin battery on board. They come different ways. Mine had a battery with a wire connected, another had just a coin size 2020. Different configurations around but ow days its just a coin size battery.
I have not fixed any of these front loaders for a while, but the top cover should come off (usually with a key), which will give you access to the coin mechanism and timer. There you usually need a 5/16 wrench or a flat screwdriver to remove the screw at the top of the mechanism.
I recommend very highly you go to a local coin shop and have the coin checked. There was a 1 Dollar coin minted at one time, very long ago, and it could be worth upwards of $10,000 or more if the coin is real. The coin must be validated and if validated you can then choose to pay for rating. Rating is very important and because of the many grades of rating used for coins it is very important to have validated coins rated by a professional. As an example, a coin rated MS 64 grade is worth $5000 where a coin rated MS 65 grade may be worth $20,000 or more. That is how particular he coin market is with old coins. I am not saying that coin is worth a great deal or money. I am saying it COULD be worth a lot of money and without any other reference there is or pictures there is no way I could even come close to giving you a value, nor could anyone else. At best we would be guessing. In most cases the coin store will verify the coin is real for free but want to charge to have the coin rated. It is well worth the fee for rating, trust an old coin collector. Have fun.
does it have the change holder in front of the changer? if so, there may be a coin lodged inside the changer. if you have a flat piece if metal, such as a piece of backstrap, you can slip it beneath the cartridge and remove the magazine. once the magazine is out, check to see if there may be a coin logded in the bottom of the changer.
is there a coin holder in front of the changer? if so, there may be a coin lodged inside the changer preventing the carrier mechanism from moving. look on the bottom of the changer to see if a coin might be stuck.
