If we use the server without PCI-PCIe Raiser card, it can boot into the OS. However, it cannot boot into the OS when we install the PCI-PCIE Raiser Card into the sever, and it alerts message error as...

The problem seems to be 2 things..

1.) firstly send the boot priority in the bios to HDD 0 or the harddrive connected directly to the board with the os.

2.) second thing, the Raiser Card, if it has raid Harddrrives connected via the ext. one of the raid harddrives connected to it is malfunctioning , remove and disable one at a time until u find the correct one. Or it could be the Card itself is malfunctioning.

I'm guessing here that you have a IDE card connected to the Raiser card with raid harddrives on it, One of them is malfunctioning.

An error code jfb0 Bus Eror - Data Parity Error Detected Parity Error The system is a Sun Blade 2000 What can I do to fix this

replace or remove whatever ram chip is faulty, that error refers to a crc check on ecc memory. Or you could just turn off ecc parity checking in the bios. But that simply defeats the object of having ecc memory in the first place

THE SERVER IS BEEPING

Will the server boot? (is there anything on the screen?)
If it doesn't boot, it sounds like a memory error.
Remove, and replace the memory to see if it does it again. If it keeps on beeping, then you may have bad RAM. Try with just one module at a time, and see if it will boot.

I have a Fujitsu Lifebook E2010 with one 256 MB RAM module. When I try to upgrade to one (or two) 512 MB standard Kingston memory (266MHz Pc2100), the notebook won't boot, I only get 1-3-3-1 beeps which is...

Hi,

Make sure that you got the right memory module with this specs:

Memory
  • DDR266 (266 MHz) so-DIMM 200 pin
  • 2 DIMM slots; upgradable to 1 GB total memory (512 MB x 2)
or better go to this link http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Portal/supportsearch.do?srch=GUIDES

there's a step by step troubleshooting for memory modules. Also make sure you purchase memory module from Fujitsu or Authorized Fujitsu Dealers .

Trying to find memory for a Primergy 150 S2 server. Does anybody know where I can get some?

You could try a store like newegg.com or tigerdirect.com. Both have memory configurators that will tell you the proper RAM needed for the system you input. Hope this helps.

Error on system start

your system is failing it's Power on Self Test (known as POST) the beeps are a code which tells you where it is failing. unfortunately the codes mean different things for different motherboards, however common faults include Graphics card fault (try reseating) and Memory failure. If you look at the Manaul for the tx300 S2 there is a section on the diagnostic LEDs, I suggest you have a look, as it may help to diagnose your problem (it can identify faulty components) http://manuals.fujitsu-siemens.com/serverbooks/content/manuals/english/thb-d1899-d2099-en.pdf

PXE boot slow, creation of RAM disk failed

RAM disk requires actual memory in order to create a 'virtual' drive. My first instinct would be to check to ensure that RAM is actually available. Perhaps memory is faulty or configured improperly.
