Question about AT&T DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone System with Digital Answering Machine
AT&T phone rep said it would take about 30 days for caller id to start working. Second AT&T phone rep said it was our phones. Third AT&T rep said that AT&T knew about this problem and trying to find a fix. Fourth phone rep said it was the black modem and was sending us another one. We switched out modems and caller I'd still does not work. I am at the point of unplugging everything and tell AT&T to come pick up their ****. Help!
Caller ID is a service your phone company provides, it is not automatic.

Do you have a dial tone? Do any other phones show caller id? do any other phones ring? Have you programmed the phones? Really need more information in order to help.

Hi,probably the person who is calling you has activated CLIR (call line identification restriction) or you don't have CLIP (call line identification presentation).
