pretty common problem - you need to get some MARINE grease for your grease gun and shoot the pivot grease nipples- some models had a special nipple that needed a gun from the marina- (so you could not put auto grease there)
Move it back and forth as you shoot the grease. I have used a torch to warm up the bits to get the grease to flow.
Also- if the motor is new to you- they have a friction of some sort on them to keep them going straight when you let go- you might want to loosen that befor trying to fix a problem that isn't there.
If you charge the battery for more than five hours or over night, you'll burn out the battery. When your done playing with the gun dont put it on the charger immediatly as this will overheat the battery. Wait about an hour for the bettery to cool and then put it on the charger. It should work fine after that.
Sounds like it needs to be oiled. A couple of drops in the small hole where your bottle screws on.
Replace bottle and dry fire to see if you got it. Cleaning is just as important. Internals need to be cleaned
and lubed often. I know it's late but hope it helps someone.
Shoot 1 round from bench rest put gun in gun vise and adjust top and side screw under round cap till cross is dead on the hole you shot with first shot and gun should be sighted in fine adjustment can be made if needed
I had the same problem with my Stanley stape gun. Had to replace all the seals and piston. Works find now! Check-out internet ...search for a rebuild kit for your model of gun. Get the complete rebuilding kit ....take about 1/2 hour to rebuild.
