Find where the wire connects to the motor-2 leads. Place even the simplest of elect. testers 2 leads to those. If you get no reading, it's your cord. A reading of 110-120 volts means power is there, but motor needs work.

Why won't my Rainbow E Series won't turn on?

It sounds like your motor is probably dead.
You would need a new motor if the Rainbow is getting power and the power nozzle works.

You can find a new motor here:

How to check wether a motor is working

I remove the power wires going to the motor and wire a power cord directly to the motor to see if it will run.

It will not turn on.... is there a reset button

Check the cord to make sure you are getting power to the switch, if so check the switch to make sure you are getting power through the switch. If so, follow the power to the motor to see if you are getting power to the motor. If you are getting power to the motor and it still will not run it may need a new motor.

I have a Bissell DigiPro canister vacuum and it has no suction. It is only 4 months old. What would the problem be?

Probably a clog in the hose. Disconnect the hose at both ends. Drop a coin in one end and allow it to fall through and out the other end. If it doesn't, the hose is blocked. Plug the end of the hose into the blower of the vacuum and turn it on. Make sure the other end of the hose is in a plastic bag. This should clear the clog.
Also, check the power nozzle behind the brush. Something may have gotten caught in the elbow near where the wand plugs in.
A full bag will also cause this, or if there's a lot of fine dust in your area, clogged pores in the bag will act the same as a full bag.

If all connections are good and taking power, this simply means that you need a new motor.

Good luck

Eureka 6900 stopped working not turning on

Could have a bad cord or a switch problem. Motor also could be the problem. Model 6900 for an Eureka upright is not a good model number, either it is wrong or is obsolete.

Bissell 6900 stopped working how do I open the thing?

Bissell 6900 Digipro ON OFF Power Switch failed. I found the wire connectors for the power switch were corroded. I fixed this by soldering the wires directly to the terminals leading to the motor. To access the circuit board and the on.off power switch I pryed off the cover for the on /off power switch and the cover for the cord retraction leaver. The covers are held on by two tabs that extend under the red cover on the top of the vacuum. Push the switch cover away from the red cover while prying the cover upwards, You may damage the two tabs on the switch cover, as I did, but afterwards, the cover went back in place and appears to work okay. WARNING: This is a home made repair of a 120 VAC circuit. If you are un qualifued to do this repair you face serious risk of a faulty solder and fire inside the vaccuum cleaner. 4fd9446.jpg78baa14.jpg
