Question about Fasco York 024-34558-000 Furnace Draft Inducer Blower A225
The draft inducer blower fasco A225 on luxaire furnace started making a loud grinding noise...found that some of the blades had broken off inside...replaced t with the same make and model and seems to be running fine now but the motor on the new blower seems to be getting quite hot!! is this normal?? I have good exhaust so there don't seem to be a blockage...can something else be causing the motor to overheat or is it normal for it to be hot??

You are OKAY!!!
If the inducer connot run the gas valve will not turn on.
You will be fine till morning the way you are.
Just be sitting down when they tell you the price of a new inducer...

Your blower should run from before the heater lights until after it has shut off. Even if you're not using water, it will cool, and the heater will have to light to maintain temperature.
