Question about Generac XP10000E XP 10000 E 5932 Portable Power Generator 10kW
I replaced the carb to get the fuel silonid and i replace the electrical board they told me it has something to do with the fuel . still wont start. if i pour gas in carb it will run till it runs out of gas. i have tried a different gas tank to make sure i didnt have somthing that was plugged. i am not sure what elese i can check ?
Is there fuel in the carburetor Bowl?
did you try running a separate gas line from a different gas tank to the carburetor?

throttle motor or governer board. or control board. your gas line could be to small. check the pressure while its cranking to see if it drops. watch the throttle to see if its moving while trying to crank the generator

The original part number your looking for is 78298 (Plastic tank valve). It has been superseded by part number 080270 and it it available here:

When you do parts searches in the future for your generator use 9856-0 (Powerplus 5000Watt) for the model number.

Its the Oil sensor just pack the oil sensor wires together with a smal screw and bolt and try starting if it starts your problem is the oil sensor they tend to go bad I have run through several myself . To avoid hassles I now have overidden the sensor but I check the oil level everytime I need to use the generator

Sounds like you missed the low speed jets when you cleaned the carb. They are very small holes and sometimes are behind a plug either rubber or brass.
