Most likely it is the wheel that the belt runs on to turn the drum. It may need to be replaced or you could try to put some white grease on it. be sure not to get any on the belt or it will make it slip and smoke

SOURCE: squealing!!

the noise is coming from the drum axle bushing that allows the drum to spin on it's axle. Gain access to the rear of machine and apply some high temperature grease that is found in automotive parts stores to the bushing. run it while observing spinning drum at rear for any possible other problem where squeal can be found such as drum slides.

Really Bad Squeeky Noise

It could be a squeal from the dryer belt. It could be from a belt that has gotten loose, like you hear on a car sometimes when it first starts up, but usually they don't get loose. They just break. Maybe something has gotten jammed between the dryer drum and the interior of the dryer making it hard for the belt to turn the drum and so it is squealing. Does the drum turn by hand without too much force and without squealing?

Frigidaire affinity front load dryer

You need an upper felt and a rear drum bearing. If you buy the felt make sure you get the special adhesive to install it. The squeal maybe part of this or it could be the rear drum bearing. You can learn how to replace the rear drum bearing here in the article I wrote. http://gomestic.com/do-it-yourself/how-to-replace-a-frigidaire-dryer-rear-drum-bearing/

wave touch or iq touch service manual.

Might be a roller or idler or maybe something in the blower housing. I have included the service manual for a late model affinity dryer. good luck on your repairs. If the link don't work do not blame me, blame FixYa. LOL

Fridgidaire affinity dryer making very loud vibrating noise when running

Hello - From what you have described it sounds like you either have a problem with the belt, front and/or rear bearing, or a loose connection with the motor or drum. I recommend contacting a professional to accurately diagnose the issue, the part(s) may have to be replace depending if they are worn, damaged or loose.
