Hi my handle bar is not locking into place and easily swaps between off road mode and normal, is this kind of thing fixable??

This is not safe and you can call bugaboo, give them the number on your chasis and they will be able to help you. They will most likely replace since it is a big problem as it is the carry handle.

Loose handles on bugaboo cameleon

The handles on a Bugaboo move up and down about 1 inch / 24 mm thats normal. If they don't lock at all or only one side does thats a problem and the answers here, www1.fixya.com/support/r7805199-fix_bugaboo_handle_lock

Handle is stuck in the carry position--Can it be fixed?

These car seats seem to have a problem in the release mechanism that
lets the handle move. We have found that lifting the handle a bit as you press
the releases can help. Try pulling toward the front of the car seat, then pressing
the release buttons. If all else fails, call Baby Trend and complain. It just might
get you a replacement if you can prove it is a danger to the child in the seat.

The carrier should have two buttons that you should be able to push in on the left and right side and all at the same time pulling the handle to the very back of carried.

I have a first years bassinet Model # Y11047, I need to know how to get the "carry-me-near ergonomic handle back down once it is in th carrying position. I don't see any buttons to release the handle

Ther are two levers on the bottom of the handle that you have to pull up to release the handle to be moved. It would be the same ones when unfolding from the travel postion.

My maxi cosi tobi seat wont recline

Yes it seems to be a design fault. Has happened twice on our Tobi seat.

To fix, lay the seat on its back.

Locate the 3 Torx head screws middle front and rear left and right. You'll need a Torx screwdriver or head of the correct size. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torx

Undo the screws, then pop the four catches at each corner with a flat-head screwdriver and remove the base.

Look at the recline mechanism, you'll see large bar at the rear (both sides) which is meant to be there. At the front, on one side or the other, you'll see a smaller bar which is part of the hinge for the recline handle. It's slipped sideways and into one of the recline mechanism slots.

Jiggle the recline handle and push the hinge bar back into the centre. It might help to use gravity - lay the seat on its side with the blocking bar uppermost. I can't see a way to prevent this slipping out again over time.

Snap the base back on and replace the Torx screws.

I just got a bugaboo cameleon, and the handles seems to be loose...

They all seem to be loose....or have you compared it to another that is not loose? The nature of the mechanism lends itself to feeling loose.

WHEELS!!!

you have to replace the spring inside the wheel hub. the same thing was happening to me and my husband made a new spring out of spring steel. I guess they just loose their strength after a while. It was very frustrating!
