Question about Saeco Vienna Espresso Machine
My machine is leaking from under the tray, I believe it is clogged. when I take out the brewgroup I see that the little pocket behind it where the water spout that links to the brew group is filled with sludgey/water espresso. I tried cleaning it out but it is still leaking. After I scoop out as much as I can (I have done this 3 times now over the last few months) the steam wand leaks for about a day or so after then stops. How can I unclog it?
Keep cleaning...make sure that run off spout the leads to the tray is 100% clear. Run water through it (with a sponge for example) to make sure you get all the sludge out. Careful about what sort of coffee you use. I have had bad luck with Illy coffee unfortunately.

Grinder sound like it is grinding to fine. Increase the grinder size. Remember to only change grinder setting when the grinder is spinning. Hope this helps!

This has happened to our machine that we use for our youth group. We sent it in and they said it was clogged also. Not having a clue what they meant. It happened again and I figured it out. When you remove the brew group there is a hole just above it that dispenses into the brew group. Make sure it is not clogged. Give it a try Good Luck

Try adjusting the grind four numbers coarser and brew a coffee, if you are getting the same result then the brew unit is clogged and the screen needs to be cleaned.
