Question about Computers & Internet
I haven't been able to find out if chromecast will work with my desktop computer that is plugged into directly in to my wireless router giving me internet access. I have a laptop I use occasionally that connects through wifi to the same router. I understand that the laptop would work with chromecast but the desktop computer is used much more. I don't want to have to get the laptop computer out each time I want to use chromecast. My question is can the desktop use the wireless in the router for chromecast with the desktop computer since it is plugged into the wireless router for internet access?
Sounds like the Desktop has a problem withe the adapter.
If you have an icon by the clock, right click on it and go to network connections or sharing center to view you adapter setting.
If you get this far get back with me.
i think a statc IP address has been entered by malware.
