Are the texts from people you know? Are they telemarketers? Are they harassing you. Notify the FCC (good luck with that). You may have to change your phone #. Be cautious giving out your phone #.
Sorry.

SOURCE: how to stop unwanted messages?

Contact your wireless carrier for restriction services or you can change your device's number to prevent unwanted txt messages. Sometimes ignoring the text messages and deleting them, help for future hassle.

SOURCE: unwanted text messages

Your provider should be able to block text messages from a single sender. If this doesnt work have them try changing your MSID or IMSI number and reprogramming your phone. You'll have to call them from another number to complete this request.

SOURCE: How do I Barr Text Messaging from an unwanted

No you can't, actually this feature is not Service Provider dependent but the device dependent. As Nokia phones got the Screening option for SMS's.
May be your phone got it, explorer it and lets see what you find. Regards.

Don't text it, it is probably a scam! Call your service provider they can block the incoming messages for you, or There are if you google your handset model, ways to block unwanted messages, also depending on your location/country there are regulated numbers provided by your service provider that will give you a number to forward this message to & they can block the number from contacting you further, sorry without knowing your provider & country I can't advise you further, sorry hope this has been of some use to you..

Can't sen or recieve text messages.

My phone comes up with a message about once a week that says "You have not rebooted your phone in several days. you should reboot to keep things working properly". That is what I would try first.

go into call settings then common settings then call reject. I have given my unwanted number a group name and then blocked that group! Hope it works. There is also a service security thing in messaging which lets you set up trusted and untrusted lists. I am trying this also.
