Hi Mary-
Some dryers have the model number on the front control panel. If not, there will be a label or metal tag on the back of the dryer along with the serial number of the unit and city/state of the manufacturer. Hope this helps!

Where do you find the model and serial numbers on the washer and dryer


You should be able to find it inside the lid or in the back of the washer or dryer. It depends on what brand it is. Good Luck.

My son has a Kenmore top load electric dryer. It


Hi, Check the door switch and the fuse. The fuse is the most common cause. You can also let the dryer cool down for an hour and see if it will restart. If it restarts, the motor might be going bad. It is hard to say without model# I'm afraid. I have not heard of a top load dryer but, these are common things to check.
