Question about Freezers
I would check to see if the compressor is running. If it is very hot and not humming then the comp is done for. or very hot and you can feel it running constantly the you have a leak and note enough refrigerant. If you hear it run then click then run then click and if hot the comp is done for and needs to be replaced.

Seems that you may have a faulty temp control switch or it is stuck in position. Check this also make sure that the air vents are clear.

please switch off your refrigerator for at least 5 hrs. than again switch it on. if your problem is not cured than it is sure that you have your gas chockage....... please visit your service authority

It has seperate cooling circuits as you describe the problem can be a leak of refrigerant in the freezer circuit.if there is no heating up in the freezer condensing coil.It has to be check for the leakage.

You need to check the temp in the freezer to make sure it's down to around 10 degrees. The alarm will go off much above that.
