Hehehe... I admit that this amuses me somewhat. (Please forgive me. :)
Since you're on a notebook, the 10-key is obviously a function assigned to various letters. Usually on the right side of the keyboard.
You've obviously identified that it's a matter of the Function ("Fn") key. The problem is that each manufacturer seems to do it a little bit differently when it comes to the Number Lock function. Sometimes it's as simple as using Fn + NumLock. Sometimes it's not. I remember having the same problem on my Toshiba laptop at one point. I eventually figured it out by dinkin' around on the keyboard. But I never did figure out exactly how to do it. (I got lucky and fixed it.)
I looked on PB's website, but it's not a very helpful one. According to the documentation that I could find (which wasn't very comprehensive OR helpful...) the procedure is Fn + NumLock.
What I would do is reboot the system and check the BIOS. See if there is an option in the BIOS along the lines of "NumLock Status" and set it to "Off". Reboot the machine.
If that doesn't work, try reinstalling the manufacturer's drivers for the keyboard from the disc that came with the system. (Assuming you have the disc.)
If all else fails... Go to your Device Manager. Find the keyboard section and UNINSTALL the keyboard. Reboot the machine immediately afterward.
Let us know what happens after that. Otherwise I'd have to say you might want to contact PB for support in case they have some details on this being any kind of potential issue...and possibly a fix.
Let me know. :)
