Question about Jenn-Air refrigerator JS48SEDUDW User Manual
I changed the cylindrical water filter in December, it is due in May for replacement and since December the ice has been normal until now. I followed the owners manual and tried everything that's obvious in the book. Low water pressure is ruled out. The ice bin sensors working properly along with the switch that gets actuated upon closing the ice door. My food is still frozen properly. It is an extremely large and heavy unit therefore I'm assuming a high service bill is due for this beautiful stainless steel $8000 refrigerator. The cubes are sized normal but the ice bin is not fully filled with ice. I have 20 cubes after 2 days when it should be noticeably more by the 3rd day or sooner.

Couple things to check first is that your evaporator fan motor is running, located in the back of your freezer. open the door and listen for the fan some work on the door switch make sure you depress the switch to check it. If the fan is not running more than likely you need a new fan. The second thing is just look at the back of the freezer compartment and look for a layer of heavey frost if there is heavey frost then your defrost is not working, will need to manually defrost and probably replace the defrost terminator part of the heater assymbly

Just check THIS link out.It will solve your problem.
From my side i believe it is the control board which has to be replaced and it will work again.

This is just anecdotal here, but one repair guy who came out and thawed a frozen line into the icemaker told us the fridge required near-full line pressure 90- or 70- or whatever that is, in order for the ice maker to work. This was a licensed repair guy. We were feeding it with an RO, which only pumped it in at 17 or 20 psi (or whatever the unit is) which he informed us was inadequate. However, after he thawed things out and we changed out the inline carbon filter in the fridge, everything was hunky dory for a couple of years. About a year back, the icemaking stopped, and changing out the carbon filters in the fridge AND in the RO system did the trick.
Now we have a different problem. Things aren't getting or staying cold, especially the fridge. I opened the housing in the back of the fridge, defrosted the extensive ice accumulated around the refridgerant coils, and everything ran great for a couple of days. Now we're back in the global warming pattern: steadily rising temperatures and thawing. I'm not feeling too happy about Jenn-Air these days.

most likely the little 1/4 inch line that feeds your fridge is either partially blocked with deposits or partially crimped. pull out the fridge and look for a sharp bend in the feed line. if you don't see that, then think about replacing the feed line with a new one.

Hello friend, thank you for your post!
I understand that your Frigidaire refrigerator is not producing enough ice. I would advise to check and make sure that your water filter has a secure connection, if need be uninstall and reinstall the water filter to assure connection. Your filter should be changed every six months, if it is has not been changed recently I would recommend exchanging it.
If you continue to receive low ice production it could be an issue with your water line or water valve, I would seek assistance from a professional for proper diagnose and repair of your appliance. I hope this helps. -Matt
