Yes there should be a wire indicating this connection as example when adding amp/seperate wire connection to turn on when radio is turned on/off

SOURCE: wiring a used pioneer deh-p630 date mfd. june 2001

blue/white is an amp turn on wire it is only needed if you have an aftermarket or factory amplifier in the car. It can also be used if you have a power antenna and there is not a power antenna wire in your harness. Yellow/white I don't recall ever seeing in a wire harness are you sure it is not orange/white? If it is orange white then it is a dimmer and you could hook it up to orange white on your harness or just cap it off and leave it alone. The yellow wire is your 12Volt constant power wire. This needs to go to a constant source of power and the red wire needs to go to a switched source of power. If you do the power wires wrong you will drain you battery fast.

Midland 77-118. Three wires coming out of unit red, black, and orange. What is the orange for? Also need manual.

Its like the wiring in your house. That little three prong plug. There are three wires, one black, one white, and one green. The green is a ground wire , the black is neg flow and the white is positive flow. Well the red wire is hot ,the yellow wire is neg flow, and the black is ground. Some times the yellow wire isn't even connected. Look inside your radio and you will only see a red and black wire???you will have to google the radio model as such ( 77-118 owners manual)

I JUST PURCHASED THIS AMP AND THERE IS NO WIRING DIGRAM WIYH IT.I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO WIRE THE POWER THERE ARE THREE WIRES RED,BLACK AND BLUE

Red goes to your battery, black gets grounded to the vehicle frame, and the blue wire is the remote turn on wire from the radio. There should be 3 power terminals together. The red wire goes to power or (+), the black wire goes to GRD or (-), and the blue wire goes to remote (usually between both the power and ground terminals). hope this helps

What does the yellow and black wire that says battery go to?

yellow goes to a 12 volt power source that never goes off no matter what position you have the key in. Black wire is ground and that can be tied into the frame of the car or another ground wire, you can find out what all wires do by using a test light. Clip one end to a clean ground and pone a wire, if it's +12 volt, it'll light up. Turn the key to find out what the wire is and once you find one that stays on no matter what, you have found the 12 volt batter wire that yellow goes to and if you can't find one there, you're going to have to run a small wire from the battery to the radio ( the radio should have an inline fuse, if not, put one on it if you have to wire it to the battery directly). To fine a ground wire you must first find a 12 volt+ wire, clip one end to the + wire and start poking other wires to find a ground wire. (you only need to know this for older care that nobody makes a wiring kit for.) Some places sell plugs that convert factory wire harnesses to after market configuration and that all you'd do is color match the wires. I hope this helps!

I dont know what color wires are for what, i had my head unit stolen and now im not sure what wires go to the new kenwood head unit

The three main wires you need to worry about are the
Ground (Black) Battery + (Red) Constant + (Orange)
As far as the speaker wires goes you are going to have to trial and error them. They are usually color coded so for instance one wire is purple with a white stripe there would be a purple wire with a black stripe that would correspond with it. Every vehicle is different in how it is wired. I know installing a stereo looks intimidating but just split up the wires and you will see it is quite simple. Do a professional job and use crimp connectors, going the electrical tape route is never worth the time it saves.

I hav a 95 berrta and im tying to put a head unit

Hello chrisuftring,

Here's a link to the wiring color code for the '95 Chevy Beretta.

You'll need to match the function of each wire from your head unit and the color code for that would be in your manual. Most aftermarket units are somewhat standard as far as power, accessory, ground, and speaker connections are concerned. But the wiring colors may be different for such leads as remote, power antenna, illumination, dimmer, and muting.

An Alpine head unit has the following wiring colors:
Blue - Power Antenna
Blue/White - Remote
Pink/Black - Audio Interrupt (muting)
Orange - Illumination
Red- Switched 12V+
Yellow - Constant 12V+
Black - Ground
Gray - RF Speaker (+)
Gray/Black - RF Speaker (-)
White - LF Speaker (+)
White/Black LF Speaker (-)
Violet - RR Speaker (+)
Violet/Black RR Speaker (-)
Green - LR Speaker (+)
Green/Black - LR Speaker (-)

With this head unit, you would wire Yellow to Orange, Red to Yellow, Black to Black, Orange to Gray, Blue to Pink, Gray to Light Green, Gray/Black to Dark Green, White to Tan, White/Black to Gray, Violet to Dark Blue, Violet/Black to Light Blue, Green to Brown, and Green/Black to Yellow.

Note that there are 2 "yellow" wires in your vehicle color code. You'll have to test them to determine which one is the accessory wire and which one goes to the left rear speaker. Using a 12V "test light" is the simplest. Connect one side of the light to ground. With the ignition ON probe the yellow wires. One of them should light the tester, the other one won't. Verify that the light goes out when the ignition is OFF and your have separated the redundant "yellows". The one that lit the tester is your 12V+ switched wire and the other one goes to the left rear speaker.

Hope this helps.

I am replacing the a/c blower motor and capacitor. The old motor has 1 brown wire to the capacitor, 1 yellow wire to the capacitor (the yellow then loops from the capacitor over to the wiring panel), 1...

Motor Wiring
Old Motor
Brown wire is Start
Yellow wire is run or Power
Black wire is High Speed or Common
The other two taps are speed taps, but you have a single speed application
And high speed is what you need ,that’s why there’s not any wires
on Red and Blue if high speed was to much then you would move the
Black wire to one of the other taps RED low speed or Blue Medinm speed
New Motor
White goes to the Yellow wire from the capacitor
Black goes to the Black wire you took off of high speed on old motor
Of course both Brown wires go to the capacitor and Green to ground
If a capacitor doesn’t discharge it doesn’t mean it’s bad
but the capacitors don’t last as long as they used.
Any time you put in a new motor always replace the capacitor
It will save you a lot of time and grief later on.
