Question about Computers & Internet
I AM HAVING A PROBLEM GETTING BACK ON FACEBOOK. IT WAS WORKING AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT I DID BUT I WANT TO GET BACK TO TALKING WITH MY FRIENDS. I TRIED MANY THINGS BUT CAN'T GET BACK ON. THANK YOU
Point your web browser at http://www.facebook.com
If another account comes up, log out of it by clicking the little gear icon in the upper-right then clicking "Log Out."
If you then still can't log in to your account, click the "Forgot your password?" link located just below the password box on the login page.
If you're getting an error message, what does it say?

Save hours of searching online or wasting money on unnecessary repairs by talking to a 6YA Expert who can help you resolve this issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.

SOURCE: Cannot log out of Facebook
The solution I found is simple...
1) Go to the "Tools" option in InternetExplorer
2) Then go to "Internet Options"
3) Select the "Delete" option in the browsing history section.
4) Menu will appear, simply UNTICK THE FIRST BOX! which states "Preseve favourites website data".
This will remove the facebook cookie and stuff so when you log out of hotmail you will not see that message about not being able to log out of facebook anymore =]
Hope this helps It really should!

SOURCE: incorrect email
Have you tried checking the inbox of your email?
Try to do so.
There should be a previous message sent to you by facebook "Facebook Registration Confirmation"
Open the message and access the link.

Site Maintenance message usually means that Facebook is making an improvement to the database and after the maintenance is over, you will be able to login to your account without any problem.
Usually, this maintenance process takes just a few hours and affects only few users at a time.
If the "maintenance error" lasts longer than 24 hours and you are still unable to login to your account, kindly report the issue to Facebook Support by clicking this link.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Testimonial: "Thank you. I did try that link to report it to FB & got an automatically generated email saying that some users have been affected by this problem for several days & they don't know when it will be resolved. At least I know I'm not the only one now. Thanks so much for your reply & help!"
