your machine might need descaling. I had trouble unscrewing the screw that holds the filter, but a bit of CRC and carefully turning back and forward did the job.
Our maching was completely blocked until I cleaned the filter.
Hi Steven. You maching is a top load type and it sounds like the leveling legs under you machine are no longer adjust properly. This can occur from moving the unit or just over time from normal use. You can verify this by pressing down individually (one at a time) on the 4 corners of the top of you unit. If it rocks when you press down or push on the the corners then your leveling legs are out of adjustment. Adjust the legs under the unit until it no longer moves when you press on the corners and see if this solves your problem. If you need more help later then reply to this post.
hi, this is a generic problem with top-loading washing machines. when the distribution of load is not uniform, it gives sound when spinning. if it produces noise even after equal distribution of clothes, the problem lies in the suspension. this is not a major fault, and can be put up with, rather than spending dollars on fixing it. this will in no way cause any special wear and tear for the machine. cheers
If when you installed the new pump and turned it on and made loud vibrating sound but not pumping any water through what you need to do is when you turn the pump on open up your steam valve turning the steam knob. Usually it is just an air lock and this should allow the air out and water to flow through. When water comes out of the steam arm, close it off and water should then come out the group head as normal. If you try this and nothing happens you either have a build up of scale which you just need to try to flush a good descaler (Puly Baby Powder) through your machine or the pump you got is faulty.
I had this same problem. I think its the upper spray arm vibrating during wash cycle. To verify; prevent the upper arm from rotating by putting a long spatula through the top rack or zip tie the arm so it don't rotate. If the noise goes away you found your problem.
