Epson WP-4530 leaking blue ink

Whenever I print, even in black and white, I end-up with dots and streaks of blue ink all over the page. Unfortunately, with the Epson WP-4530, you can't remove a color cartridge and still print in black and white. I've cleaned and aligned the print heads many times, but that does not help. When it first started, there were huge lines of very wet, blue ink on the pages, so it seems to be getting somewhat better. Although I can't use any document I print from this printer for work. Anyone have a way to fix this? Thanks!

SOURCE: cartridge alignment

So if the magenta or yellow are not showing up, it may mean you have installed an empty (or dried up) color cartridge. If you have it, put the "low" volume color cartrige back in and print an alignment page. If you don't have the cartridge, no problem, just print a page from Google. Don't worry about the alignment until you print from Google. See if color is even available. ZT3000 "Beta tester of "0"s and "1's"

Did you resolve this issue?
If not check that the Scanner bulb is lighting. If not check the cable from the scanner to the formatter and seated correctly. The scanner or the formatter board may be bad.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Prints 1" wide blue streak from top to bottom of page

If you're holding the paper so the narrow side is up, and the blue streak is vertical, then it's not a bad print head. If the stripe is from side to side with the paper held that way, then possible that the head is bad. The 4530 is an office type printer with large carts that connect to the print heads with hoses. It's possible that a hose has come off and is dumping ink that way, or that the hose is leaking...

When we attempt to print it leaves black streak marks. At first it printed all black and when we went to setup under maintainence we chose alignment and clean cartridges. This worked however we still see...

If an inkjet printer gives white streaks where it should be black, it means the ink is very low, or there is dirt under the nozzles preventing it from printing properly, or, in the case of non original cartridges, ink might be leaking which prevents the bubbles of ink to squirt onto the page.

If the streaks are black where it should be white, is sounds like some dust or fluff below the cartridge leaves ink smears on the page.

Epson CX3810 started leaving blank streaks, now no ink on page

I went to Epson.com's technology on google - and as I followed their prompts, I learned that it was the printer heads and that you aren't supposed to tilt the machine. I have been moving it a lot, so undoubtedly tilted it. You can follow the prompts after a right click on the printer icon on the bottom left corner of the monitor and it cleans the printer head. This also solves a white streak problem if people are having white streaks where there's no pringint....They had lost of answers there too.

Leaking black ink on printed pages

Hi, please attempt to run a numerous blank paper through the printer. This will dry or clean any ink found on the rollers.
Continue to run blank pages through the printer until no more ink is found on the paper, then attempt printing. If ink stains or streaks are still present, the printer may need service.
