As long as you do not pay anything or give information your OK. Some offers are looking for suckers to buy long distance then not send you anything. Also be careful about meeting somewhere with money. Than may not be safe either.

What can I use to wrap gifts other than gift wrap? I am on such a tight budget and am sure that we have stuff round the house that I could use instead of buying new.

How about using old maps! It sounds bit off beat but people usually have old maps that are out of date or just not needed any more around the house. They make very funky wrapping paper and add to the adventure of unwrapping the gift.

I bought my son a bike and want to wrap it for his birthday but there is no way I can use that much wrapping paper. Any ideas how to give him something he can unwrap?

When I buy oversized gifts for my kids I don't even try and wrap them. What I do is buy a cheap mini version ie a small plastic hand size bike and wrap it up. You can tell them it's a clue....or you can give a clue as to where they will find the 'real' gift ie under the stairs or outside the front door.

I've found that this actually adds to the excitement and fun of opening presents.

The hose keeps coming loose when it is flushed. The hose comes loose from the flush tower. Is thre a way to prevent this?

The tube fits into a slot that holds it in place.
The tube doesn't go loose into the overflow pipe.
Look at the overflow pipe, and you will see a slot where the tube fits in.

If the tube fits loose in the slot, try wrapping tape around the small hose so it fits tighter.
Put one wrap of tape first, and then add another wrap, etc unit tube holds

I have a xl-5, a exposed negative wire keeps wrecking motors

You need to either replace the lead or put some shrink wrap on the exposed wire. The short on the heatsink is definitely causing a problem.

Still get 3 rings after xclamp fix and applied arctic silver 5

Take your metal case, and drill holes big enough to fit 5m diameter x 16mm tall screws. Put them all up through the holes and add 3 steel washers to each post. then add 1 nylon washer. >>>make sure you do the penny fix or replace the thermal pads before you place your motherboard inside the case<<< Place your motherboard inside of the case ( you can use tape on the back side of the metal case to hold screws in place; may want to do that before you add washers) add 1 nylon washer then 1 steel washer to each. Take off microsoft's bolts from the heat sinks and re-apply a ssmmmallll amount of thermal paste (size of a piece of rice for the big ones). Attach everything and you will be good to go.

Penny Trick- Take 2 pennys, wrap them one way with electrical tape, then turn 90 degrees and wrap them again so no copper is showing. >>You will need 4 sets of 2 pennys<< Flip your motherboard over and peal off the white things with band-aid looking squares on top of them. Peal the band-aid looking squares off and apply your tape-wrapped pennys.

Note: If you do not have these puddy-looking things on your ram chips, Use some hot glue, not a lot though.

You may also need to "bake" your 360. When you are all said and done with applying and bolting things. Take your 360 and put everything in except the fan. Take the fan plug it in its spot, then lay it diagonally from its plug, ontop of the tall cpu heatsink. Turn your xbox on for about 15 minutes. Let it over heat good so it can reset itself flat. Turn if off and let it cool down for about 20 minutes. Put everything back together and enjoy your console as your paid for it! smile.gif

Rockband microphone not working

Well, wrapping the cord around the controller has been known to damage the cords that allow the console to read the messages sent out by the controller. You may have damaged it. I've never heard of any way to fix this.
