This is pretty involved as you must remove top of engine completely. Top cover reveals all your air intake manifold and there quite of hoses, brackets to remove as well. Do you know which head or you planning to do both? A YouTube video shows the process of changing valve cover gaskets, which shows the efforts required to start this job.
There were two covers that needs to be lifted up to expose the cartridges.
first top cover is the Top Lid Cover (The one with the ADF - it is where documents will be scanned) 2nd cover is the flatbed scanner glass - it is where documents is xerox or copied)
Hold both of these cover altogether and lift this up slowly with some force. The cartridge carrier will position itself in the middle once the covers was completely lifted up. Pull up the lock for the cartridge carrier to remove the cartridges.
You need to open top cover. Find lock you need to press that lock so upper cover is faced off. You can find that lock on the front middle side. You need to press it so uper cover is up then pull ink cartridges from it. Then reattach new cartridge. Let me know if you need further assistance. Thanks for using FixYa.
remove front cover,then top cover, slip new belt over drum,then either from the front or rear you can string it onto motor pulley and then over idler pulley manually rotate drum to make sure belt is centered on pulleys and your done
The front bumper cover does have to come loose at the top. Remove the retainers along the top of the front bumper cover on top by the radiator and loose the part of the grill that goes over the headlamp. cover with tape to avoid scratching the lens . then remove the 3 bolts for the headlamp. Two at the top and one down at the bottom inboard side. Then pull the headlamp at the outobard bottom to release the retainer and remove the headlamp.
I have a Singer steam press Pro-9S, the top plate is loose from the screws holding the hot plate and the cover arm, I like to know how to remove the hot plate cover from the arm to tighten those screws. Thank you.
Turn the vac. over, remove the bottom plate covering the brush roll, then on the bottom of the top cover, on each side there should be 2 slots when you can put a flat blade scredriver, pry up to release the tabs holding the cover on. The know will come off also when you do this, just put it back on when the put the cover back on. Put the belt on the brush roll and feed it thru the opening and stretch to put over the motor shaft. The top cover, push down to lock it.
