I have had the same problem. The ink cartridge gauges ARE NOT reliable. they might tell you you're full, but there are either empty or all coaegged. Solution? heads and nozzle clean-up. Might take a while (like up to 50 clean ups in my experience.

Clean clean and re clean again.

I have new ink cartridges in my printer property installed. Everything is plugged in. When I try to print something from the printer or my computer, the printer spits out blank sheets of paper.

there are a couple of nasty little issues regarding printers all alike. usually when replacing ink cartrages there is a chance you upset the print heads when installing. there are 2 ways to try to solve the problem:

1 is usually on the printer theres a feature to print an alignment page or a button to align the print heads, both easy and hard to find depending on the printer, it can take several attempts to work. use it with one deep clean of the print heads for better results.

2 is to manually try to find printer services from the computer side. some printers have it some do not. i cannot guarentee there will be one. using windows 7 go to devices and printers and inside printer properties of your default printer you can find it there if it is there.

Printouts come out blank every time. Same happens when you try to photocopy. Ink levels seem ok. Some probelms experienced with paper feed.

Sorry for underestimating your knowledge, but did you remove the protective tape from the printheads?
If the communication between printheads and the printer is lost, the printer will not just print out a blank page, but will ask for new cartridges. That's why the printer have to be OK and the printheads should be faulty.
The printheads actually does not have level sensors in them. The printer calculates the levels according to the print history and may vastly deviate. They may be empty. But they may just be clogged by dry ink. Try to clean the nozzles using the procedure in Printer Preferencies, Maintenance or Troubleshooting tab. If fails, try to soak them in hot water for 15 minutes and dry them with a napkin.
If everything else fails, install new cartridges.

Paper blank

You should have to do a "paper alignment" or follow the "new cartridge" prompts.

Hi. Printer isn't working, paper comes out blank.

Most likely the printhead is clogged. Another possibility is that the cleaning station does not work. 3 ways the printhead can clog,

1. Using Generic Ink
2. Not using the printer for a long time
3. Print a large print job after the ink indicator says the inks are running low.

You are better off replacing the unit than trying to get the printhead unclogged. Cost is usually around $40 and is only a 65% chance it willwork.

No ink output from Epson Stylus Color 777

I don't have an answer for you but I have the exact same problem.

I have an Epson Stylus Color 777 and I put in new cartridges (black and color) that I bought yesterday (03/05/10).

I pulled the tape off the cartridges and inserted them in their carriages. Everything works like usual except that no ink at all prints on the page. Comes out completely blank.

Red light flashing, do printing, paper blank out : ink low message. Ink level low, near to ink out level. But it just program, may be ink tank is out actually (no ink at ink tank). Refiil ink tank or replace w new one. Check Nozzle.

Prints everything blank

Check the print cartridge. Open the printers top cover and find release lever for the ink cartridge. Lift out the cartridge and check the jets (copper coloered foil with holes) for blockage. New cartridges have a piece of tape over the jets which must be removed before installing. If blocked with dried ink, dab gently with paper towel and rubbing alcohol. Dry by dabbing on paper towel. Other things to check are: Incorrect cartridge, empty cartridge, and cartridge not snapped in all the way. The cartridge that comes with the printer usually is only partly filled and runs out earlier than normal. You could always try a new cartridge which you will need eventually anyway.

Good luck,

You need to put the test page that was printed into the scanner part of the printer and then press the scan/blue button. This is so the printer can calibrate the new ink. When you have done that the next time you turn on the printer a blank page will not be printed. When you next change ink you will have to repeat the above procedure.
