2003 s-19 4.3l engine slow to fill fuel tank

By pass pipe crimped or blocked, most tanks have a pipe from the top of the tank to the neck of the filler to allow air to escape from the tank as the fuel is put in. If the pipe gets blocked, air has to come back up the filler pipe and it bubbles the fuel and backs it up to the filler causing the pump to knock off. Hope that helps.

MY 2002 Montana rus hot when stopped and I have to keep filling the water resivoir on my Montana. There is no leaks, I just replaced the water pump. Where is the water going ?

Out the exhaust pipe. Check the radiator for bubbles. Fill it up to the neck, run the engine to warm it up, give the top hose a couple of squeezes to clear any air from the system. Any continuing bubbles at the filler means a leaking head gasket. Also check the oil for any water.

Machine over filling with water. Water floodingout of detergent filler box slot. Any solutions????? Help

This is almost certainly the result of the fill sensor failing.

Not knowing the machine you have, here is a general guide:

Take the top off the machine, if you look down the side you will see a (typically clear plastic) tube about the thickness of a pencil, connected to a circular device about the circumference of a coffee cup and about an inch to two inches thick.

This is the sensor. Problems with it may be:

It has come unclipped from where it should be mounted. The device is VERY sensitive and if it has slipped out of place, over or underfilling is common. (Reposition the sensor, hopefully you can see where it came from!)

The pipe that is connected to it has come off, so the air pressure that the sensor measures is not increasing as the machine fills (push the pile back on and all is well)

The machine has been subject to some trauma (Such as a very uneven load that has made it shake violently. The starting level of the water that is in the bottom of the pipe is now wrong and the pressure sensor is being affected. (Remove the pipe from the sensor, blow down the pile to get any water that should not be there out and then replace the pipe).

I wire is off the sensor (Take a look around and re-fit any loose wire).

The sensor has actually failed and requires replacement. (A dealer in these goods will be able to find you a replacement, if you are visiting a dealer, take the unit, along with the make and model with you so they can match it easily. Failing this, search for a part on the internet and match it to your make and model).

Water over flowing from detergent drawer

If machine is just filling all the time till water comes out detergent drawer then this will be a pressure fault. Most likely a blockage.Unplug your machine and remove the top. You will see a round switch with a number of wires going to it and a thin pipe at the bottom of the switch. This is the pressure switch that controls the level of water. the water goes into the pipe at the bottom and builds up air pressure within the pipe which operates the switch. the water should never come up this pipe to the switch.
You now need to follow this pipe down to the bottom of the machine. There it will be fitted with a small spring clip to a pipe, or small chamber. This is where your blockage will be and you now need to find something to clear this without damaging any parts. When done replace all pipes secure and test machine. Now you are hopefully satisfied that this was your problem. Goodn luck

Detergent dispenser does not empty after washing

it could be either a leaking water inlet valve or the pump is not emptying all the water from the machine and when it goes in to spin centrafugal force forces water back up the filler pipe

2003 Chevy S-10 Crew Cab slow filling tank which splashes back and shuts off gas pump hose. ? filler pipe problem.

Sounds like the vent is pluged, its either next to the filler pipe or inside the filler pipe, but in any case it will come from the gas tank
( most likely on top of tank) to vent the air thats traped in the tank, when its pluged there is no other place for the air to go but out the filler tube.

Washing machine help

If it fills up while just standing it is the filler valve , they are easy to replace

You need to take the back off the machine and with no power on listen to hear if water is trickling in, if it is then change the valve.

If it fills up while working then you need to do the same as above only this time take off the pipe which runs from a small tube shaped plastic moulding at the bottom of the outer tub to what looks like a small flying saucer which sits near the top

Blow into the tube and you should hear a clicking sound as you blow and release

If you can hear that the switch should be OK and I would then go back down to the Air Bell and make sure it does not have undissolved soap clogging it up inside

Matsui dishwasher wont fill up with water

check your inlet filter at the tap source and behind the machine where the filler pipe enters. They changed some pipes in our street and fine sand filled our micro filters to the dishwasher.
