According to the owners manual for these swimming pool lights, if you light is not working for the full amount of time expected (at least 4 hours) you should try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. The battery pack might not be fully charged. Check the charge and recharge if necessary.

2. The battery pack or charge might be defective. Run the light through several charging cycles. If it fails to hold a charge but the indicator lights are showing normal operation, take the light to an authorized repair shop.

3. The battery pack might be old. After approx. 600 charges, the batteries might lose their ability to be charged. If this is the case, take the light to an autorized repair shop to receive new battery installation.

4. The product might be overheated. The light's internal temperature regluator will shut of the product to prevent damage. Allow the light to cool down and then test for normal opperation.

Have a 2001 excursion 7.3 deisel shuts off while driving security comes on sometimes blinks othertimes it dont but wait to start light might stay on 15 min &other times two minutes

The glowplugs are the second element for a diesel to start. When the timer sends spark to the glowplugs they must warm up to atomize the fuel. Each glowplug must be removed to test and if you do not want to replace all of them you check them by using jumper cables and a 12v battery. You would put the negative cable clamp on the thread housing and briefly touch the positive on the plug top. This can melt the part so realize that it is a comparison of how long and bright the part will glow. A dark result, slow to glow, is a worn out part. You would remove at least 4 plugs for your comparison at a time. Also check battery health as these parts need maximum juice to glow.

My Glow bouy does not hold a charge also have no idea where to get it fixed.

If it is failing to hold a charge, the rechargable batteries have probably worn out. As far as I know, you are not able to replace the batteries in this light. You can call backyardcitypools.com, which sold this particular light, and they might be able to tell you how to do it. If not, they can give you some options for replacing the swimming pool light.

My glow bouy won't hold a charge.

According to the owner's manual that I have for this swimming pool light (troubleshooting section), a blinking red light is definately a charging issue. The manual recommends that you unplug and replug in the light several times. If the flashing continues, they recommend that the batteries need to be replaced. Unfortunately, you cannot replace the batteries yourself. They specifically state that you cannot open the housing yourself. If you did, you would risk electrocuting yourself AND void any warranties that you have. You will have to take it into the retailer that you got it from or an autorized pool supply/repair shop or replace the whole light.

I sorry to say I think you have a component failing that is related to heat. 15 years is a long time and if the TV was used in hpot conditions over the years it may well be the proble, or it's just old.
