I need to know how to hook up Sony amplifier ta-ax 295,Sony tuner st-jx 295, sony cassette tc-w295 with a RCA 5 disc CD player and a Samsung DVD/ video CD/CD player in stereo. It always worked when my...

There are a number of amplifiers in the TA series, but the connections are basically the same.
In your system, the amplifier serves as master control. How do you know? Look for the component that offers input selection -tuner, cassette, CD, video, phono and probably auxiliary. Every other component plugs into and is controlled by the integrated amplifier. For example, plug the tuner wires from the tuner output to the amplifier input marked "Tuner." To use the tuner, just select that input from the front panel. Same with all the other components.

On the back of that unit will a bunch of RCA jacks for left and right channels. Take the hook-up wires, usually RCA cables with colored plugs on each end, and connect the OUTPUT jacks on each separate component to the INPUT jacks on the amp. Power may also be controlled from the amp. On audio plugs, red is right and white is left. Keep the polarity constant as you connect each component. Connect the speaker wires to the speaker outputs, usually spring clips or screw terminals on the amplifier end and the same on each speaker. The DVD video cable will have three wires: Yellow, red and white. Yellow is always video. It may also have a little round video connector for S-VHS which provides a much better picture when using DVD.
Select your desired input and enjoy the show. Service Manual free download schematics datasheets eeprom bins pcb...

VR3 200 AMP

Looking at this picture you can see the terminals at the top.
This installation has one speaker hooked up on the right, and the power inputs hooked up on the left.
The inputs will be power on the left, 12 volts positive (V+); a signal wire for to power on the amp that's 12 volts positive too, (V+, It's usually a yellow wire that comes out of the car stereo called To Antenna, or To Amp. and the third connector on the left is a Ground, or 12 volts Negative (12-). Look for the labels V+ and V- to get the power connectors in the right places. (I can't tell from the picture which is which)
On the left side is the Speakers, Each speaker has a positive and negative lead, and the terminals on the amp are labeled Left + and Left - and Right + and Right - .
Align the speaker leads to the terminals (in cars a negative lead usually has a stripe running along the length of it, and a positive has no stripe).

On the other side of the amp are RCA sockets, one red one white. Any low signal can plug into these, from an Ipod to a turntable. Your car stereo, or EQ, will have RCA outputs that can connect to these with an RCA Patch cord, which has plugs on both ends that will fit into the RCA sockets. Whatever signal goes into the RCA inputs is amplified out of the speakers when it works.

I trying to hook up an old record player to my Vocopro karaoke machine & I can't get any sound. What cables & where do I hook them

the record player should have a 2 sets of wires (one for power) and the other for left/right sound........you may need an adapter for this if there is no RCA plug in (if there is plug in AUX)

How many rca jacks does it have can u hook to amps up to it

it has 1 audio output. (2 rca's one for left and one for right.)

Depending on how you plan to set up your system, you can pretty much hook up as many amps as you want.

If you are planning to run an amp to your speakers, you can wire it right into the wiring harness. If you are planning to run more then one amp, strapped or bridged etc, you just use a splitter or the pass through if the amp has it.

you only need one set of RCA's to hook up sub amps. however if you are amping the speakers for front and rear, then you wire it right into the harness if the head unit doesn't have separate rcs's for front and rear left and right. RCA's just make it easier but its still possible with out them.

My subwoofers will not play

go into the menu screen on the pioneer unit and go to setting if you have a loud function there turn it on.... if that doesn't activate the amp ...(did you hook up the blue wire from pioneer deck to amp and run it threw the car to the amp)..if no than your pioneer deck does not realize there is an amp present in system....... if yes scroll threw menu till you see audio look for Sub Woofer or Amp you may even have a button on pioneer deck marked SW go press it and turn amp to on this will provide signal from pioneer unit to amp if this doesn't work other thing could be you hooked RCA to AUX input (but if you have a SW for RCA plugs on back of unit make sure the RCA wires are in it) the loud or SW button should activate it (if there is only F and R for RCA plugs on back of unit use R hope this helps)
