I have a bosch jackhammer 11388, motor runs fine but the bit not cutting

Position 856 1617000836 a broken hammer piston in the worst case but you have to order 1 617 000 A15 a maintence kit and special lubrication used 50 ml 1 615 437 512
INSPECT CAREFULLY THE 1 617 000 838 Hammer Pipe for rips if all parts are unmounted of the hammer pipe tap it with a metal object then it should not have any dull sound treat like a tuning fork for control for rips. thats important before repair consideration before.
The lubricant will be quite thick and that can also be the case only , (only have had its working hours on it) the revision of this hammers are easy to do it yourself clean solvent all metal parts that you re-use again to do the job you have a bench-vise and tools , for the striker pin in case there are no special tools neccesary like other hammers like a suggestion the Milwaukee 500S or other proffesional hammer because of the need of special seals and tools are neccesary , in between 1 and 2 hours are taken to service this Bosch hammers sometimes its neccesary to be aware of 1 ring to replace first of all because its easy to forget this ring on position 104 1610210095 o-ring that will very easy forgotten in practise with some grease replace it first of all spare parts.

My hr5201c rotary hammer does not hammer even after replacing the piston rings. I notice that when I depress the trigger it hammers. What could be the problem?

How is the health of position 21 until 27 ??? i think the impactbolt pos 24 has a problem because of the weakness of the material thats used by most of the rotary hammers in these days ,a rotary hammer is not specially made for longlasting jobs, only a few brands have had it like DUSS and Hilti but a demolition hammer is made by more expensive heavier quality materials and made for working 1 or max 2 hours at a strech , a rotary hammer cannot last that jobs.
Buy a consumables kit for this machine, and the special grease for it and use only the Makita heat-resistant lubricant, because only replacing piston rings will not work beware on the lubrication when if there was something leaking in front the o-rings are all be hard and weak because when the pneumatic function is lost and its leaking in the front of the spindle is the first thing to have an good working(and not leaking) inpactbold is the highest priority for the function of the hammerfunction. the first link is having the list

Baumr ag User Manual Needed
  • There should if available for your model type a maintenance kit neccesary for your model or all the used o-rings and sometimes special tools because there are special buna-n or nbr o-rings used sometimes braun or green colored on some parts and gaskets, seals and rings used and allways if your tool is leaking then replace the impact bold in front of the spindle if you have find the right drawing for your model type
  • The right lubrication is very important in combination of the o-rings because of the heat building release by rotating and hammering and a leaking tool has oft made all o-rings hardenet because of the failed pneumatic working loose of lubrication dried out principal it becomes very dry internal on some places and much to hot .

How to lubricate electric demolition hammer

Only lubricate is not enough, the kind of grease is brand and breaker type dependent , but a consumables kit and a condition that the machine that front that the striking pin in the front air and lubricant is closed in terms of oil seals etc completely closed has very high priority otherwise it is only momentary, because all O-rings, etc. are to fast getting hot again a rapid solidification and its leaking again , and premature all kinds of rings are hardened again, therefore there must be a service (maintenance kit (spare parts) are used A NOTE a rotary hammer is not a demolition hammer and there is often more wrong with and most times too expensive to service in proportion to hidden defects with respect to the new price it than a heavy breaker

How to put oil in Hitachi H65

OIL ?? I think Hitachi has always a yellow grease lubrication
hitachi grease demolition hammer Google zoeken never seen heart of oil in Hitachi demolitions. but there could be models in your Country thats new for me .
Otherwise BOSCH HILTI and the one and only brand DUSS demolition hammers and also a few brands of Chinese hammers need oil lubrication . an expensive sinc-free hydraulic oil the same as used in some pressure washers life lasting oil but for HItachi look at the link for the grease 2 tubes a enough . good luck and dont forget the piston pin to replace with a new not only the gaskets and o-rings and also the oil and dirt seals on the front where the striking pin is that must be absolutely not air leaking because all your work burns in a few months again out . you can start all-over again.

Makita HR4041C rotary hammer drill

There is no tension to adjust on the Makita HR4041C rotary hammer drill. If you are not getting the hammer action you think you should be it's possible the o-rings on the piston are damaged or not lubricated or the striker is stuck or not lubricated enough to work properly. If you're having problems with the bit turning, there are several gears that turn the bit that could be slipping or are stripped. If you need a manual or brakedown of the tool, one is available on The insides of rotary hammers are fairly complicated so be carefull of what goes where if you decide to take the tool apart to check for internal problems.

It wont hammer when I put a small or large amount of pressure on the hammer. It hammer only a short while when I start the mammer (about 1 second) and the same when I release the button.

Lack of hammering action usually indicates a lack of lubrication or worn piston orings. This hammer as well as many other makita hammers work with a piston moving forward and back within a cylinder. This piston moves a second piston within the cylinder with a pocket of air (pressure and vacuum). If there is a lack of lubrication or orings are worn, you will not get a good hammering action /force out of the second piston. Time for good cleaning and apply factory lube. Parts are at Good luck

How much and what type of lube do i put in the area where the piston and crankshaft are located?

Best practice is to purchase service kit part # 1617000050 . It is available from several outlets including link below. The kit includes items that need to be replaced at time of lubrication.
If you do not want to purchase the kit then use Bosch 1615430015 Hammer Grease 15oz

Good morning Sir, i fitted a complete service kit on my bosch gsh 11e but after a few moments of use it wouldn't hammer any longer, i immediately dismantled it but found nothing wrong. please note that i...

Bosch hammers work better under all environmental conditions with bosch grease part# 1615430010 or equivalent (such as hitachi, skill, or makita hammer grease). Bosch grease is light, slightly sticky with a high dropping point. If the grease is heavy and really stickey the hammering action will not be as desired and may get vacuum lock and not hit at all. Be sure to store hammer with nose pointing down to prevent hammer/anvel from slipping too far back into cylinder. In the case of Bosch hammers, more is not better. Too much grease has a negetive effect so just light application will go a long way. Good holidays
