That's because the monitor is no longer sensed. Try removing the video cable from the monitor, then gently but firmly put it back in place. Tighten the nuts securely, but not so hard that you would need a tool to remove it. If the problem is still there, do the same thing where the cable attaches to the back of the computer. If that doesn't work, the problem is most likely with the video card. If you know how to do it and have a spare video card, you could try swapping it to see if the problem goes away, but at this point it's probably time for a visit to the repair shop.
Good luck!

SOURCE: Has black screen that says no signal input check

If you are so sure that cable is good and plugged in properly in both the end ( ie monitor as well as cabinet) and teh computer is turning on ... then you can try to turn the computer on in the safe mode

fore that when its turning on - keep tapping the F8 key on the keyboard and it will give you an option where you can select that you want to start it in the safe mode ..

once its on then you need to reduce the screen resolution for that

right click on any empty place on the desktop and go to properties.

it will open a window which says Display Properties under that look for a tab which says setting and from there you can reduce the screen resolution

You can get back to me if it does not help you

Moniter keeps turning off saying no video imput

Hello and Welcome to FixYa!

Check that the Input signal cable is properly inserted in the VGA socket. Secondly the Primary VGA is properly giving display signals to the Monitor/LCD. Because there are cases in which VGA is the bottle neck of the trouble you are facing.

Cross check and update me with the status,

Best of Luck,

Monitor not working

These messages appear during if the video cable becomes disconnected or
damaged.(most likely you will need to replace it)
Turn off your monitor and reconnect the video cable; then turn on both your computer and the
monitor.
If your monitor screen remains blank after using the previous procedure, check your video
controller and computer system; your monitor is functioning properly
