Hot water valave faulty if your hot water tap is open and can pass water. Otherwise fault inside the control board. It also can be fixed but first look at the hot water valve and the btap.

The water isn't getting hot

Hi Carl:
First, a question for you......
Did you just install this washer, or maybe do some maintenance?
The reason I ask is that there are 3 possible reasons the water is not getting hot.
1) There is no hot water available at the supply.
2) The supply hoses have been reversed and you're getting cold water when the machine thinks it's getting hot water.
3) The settings on the machine are requesting cold water. Check the dials.
Hope this helps.
Cheers.

Can I hook the wash and rinse to cold water hose?

Not sure what you are asking. If you want to wash and rinse you clothes in cold water only, there should be a water temp selection switch to allow you to do that. If you are asking if you can hook cold water hose to both ports on the washer back the answer is yes but it is easier to just cap off the hot side of the water valve on the back of the machine. Most machine water inlet valves are a 3/4 thread garden hose connection. Go to a hardware store or a Lowes/ Homedepot and ask for a screw on cap. They come in both plastic and brass. If you do cap the hot side of the inlet valve, make sure your washer has a cold only setting for wash and rinse and keep it set there. If it gets moved to hot nothing will fill or run.

My CVA620 machine asks to "expel air " but

keep holding the hot water button down until you get a steady stream of water with no air. if you continue to get the error message after the water comes out, you will need to check the flow meter. if water never comes out, you have a leak inside the machine, a pump issue, or a blockage in the water path. That machine uses the same pump for steam and hot water, so if your steam is working, your pump is probably good. Blockages usually occur from not descaling properly. That machine is prone to leak at the hose fittings. the original o rings were black rubber, and failed fairly early. the replacements are red silicone and last much longer.

I have a Kenmore 24032 \ 24036 Top Load Washer.

Sounds like the water faucet may not be turned on all the way, or maybe the inlet screen on the washer is clogged. Some hoses have a screen in the one end too. Either way it appears to have a restriction somewhere.

Orientation of inlet pipes

I am not to sure if this answers your question but I think you are asking which way the hot and cold hoses connect to the wasing machine? if this is the case if you look on the back of the washing machine you will see stamped in the metel a H for hot connect the hot water inlet hose to this, If it is not marked, hook up the hot water hose to the washing machine and place the water temp selector to hot and turn machine on if hot water comes out you have the correct hose hooked up,if not then the cold water hose goes were you hooked up the hot water hose. hope this helps

Nead help pleace

When it says to ventilate, it is asking you to prime the pump. Put a cup under the panarello wand ( the steamer/frother) to catch the discharged water and press the hot water button (upper left button on my machine). Wait until air stops coming out with the water, usually 3-5 ounces, and then press the hot water button again.

You machine is now ventilated (primed) and should be ready to go.
