Can the water filter housing be the cause of slow water when the filter is in place?

Even a new filter will reduce the flow some what. I think the pressure to the filter is low or restricted . that will cause a reduction in flow, no it should not leak, check on the seal.

My "Whirlpool Gold" Refrigerator's interior water dispenser was dripping pretty badly. I just replaced the inlet valve and the drip is MUCH slower but it's still there (1 drip every ~10 minutes). Wha

Perhaps some air bubbles were trapped in the water line during the repair. Try running water thru the line for a good amount of time and that may help to relieve the line of any air bubbles.

Hello, lost water in the house, now when it came back on, water dispensor has a slow drip (not sure if related)... the dispensor handle seems to be working fine... it dispenses water when pressed.. doesn't...

remove bottom grill.

look for tube which runs thru freezer door.

follow back towards underneath of machince/ find push fit connector.

remove pipe which run thru door from connector and blow thru quite hard. reconnect and press dispenser paddle to allow water back thru

this shhould solve problem in 9/10 cases if it doesn't then you will need your water inlet valve checked

The water lines from the filter housing leak at the solenoid and are dripping at the filter. It is a Whirlpool gold series side by side

you should be able to push in the ring around the tube at the same time pull the tube out
cut about 1/4 in off and push it back into the hose clip
unless your line is craked this should work for most drip leaks

Excessive water dripping from Central A/C drian line

sounds like the overflow drain is picking up the water that means the main drain is clogged.you need to find the main drain pipe if lookin at the air handler in attic there should be 2 drains from unit one higher than other follow it and blow out drain they put the other overflow drain out the eve so if it stars leaking someone notices it and it doesnt damage cieling but it sound like it needs imediate attention befor it does go to the overflow pan and damage your cieling. i hope this helps and good luck

Leaking on floor

Hello
Welcome to fixya.
I'm Huuum and happy to assist you,

You said, Water is dripping from filter housing, only leaks when filter in!You have two choices.
1. You can have service repair or replace the filter seal in the filter seat.
2. Or you can operate it with out a filter with no ill effect! that's okay to operate it without!

Please remember to leave a rating before you go!

Water leaking at filter

If this is a Pure source 2 filter in the upper right hand side of fridge, Purchase an Electrolux filter bypass, P/N 241944302. This is a empty cartridge that lets water flow without water drip when filter is clogged. Fridgidaire/Electrolux made no bypass in these filters, so when clogged they leak. Plus they NEVER last more than about 30/60 days. If you use the bypass, you will need a separate filter elsewhere such as in water line under sink or behind fridge. Call me at 816-560-8545 if you need more info.

Water dispenser dripping

Your house valve may not be totally closed (bad seal or something) letting a small bit of water through. Disconnect the line to the fridge completely (in the back) to be sure. That way even if the fridge solenoid valve is bad AND the house valve is bad you won't get dripping. If you know the valve is good, there are times when the water filter will have air trapped in it letting the water in the line drip out slowly until it's finally empty. Pull any filters you have also.
