Question about Frigidaire FAX054P7A Wall/Window Air Conditioner
I know this post is super old, but it seems to me that if the power cord were damaged as chris jones suggested then it would trip the breaker immediately upon being plugged in. More likely is that an internal component got knocked out of place and created a short that trips the breaker only when the unit is turned on, energizing the loose or bent component. This would be something like the electric leads of a fan bumping into the frame, or any other inumerable possibilities.
