Question about Computers & Internet
I have a router and I am on my laptop but I have an ipod and a tablet but can't use them because I have no idea what the password is and I would like to know how to change it.
Download NIRSoft's WirelessKeyView, unzip it to its own folder, run the WirelessKeyView.exe file (this program can trigger false positives with microsoft's Security Essentials, so you may need to temporarily disable it if that happens)... you didn't mention what kind of laptop you have, that program is for windows only.
In Win7, if you have administrator access, you can open Network & Sharing Center, then choose Manage wireless networks from the menu on the left, right-click on the network name and choose Properties. On the Security tab, check the 'Show characters' box and you can see the password in the clear.

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
