My AVIC-F900BT was stuck on one channel and wouldn't change. There was no sound. Radio head detected Satelitte system, but no buttons worked. Found on the internet a solution that worked for me. I disconnnect the battery terminals for 5 minutes and then connected them. When the system rebooted, the Sirius radio worked fine. I'm posting this hopeing it will help someone.
yes it is the sirius unit I was told to drop all power while system is on disconect the battery while ignition is on then turn back on and wait ten min for update to complete if that does not work call sirius to have them send the update mabe they can tell you when its complete hope this helps..
I am most certain that you have to return the radio most likely you do have a faulty radio and you have only one or two choices here. Return or take it to a tech...I would use the warrenty and send it back...sounds very faulty...this is common with these radios.
You cannot adjust the volume when the stereo cord is plugged into the back of the dock. Instead, plug the stereo cord into the front headphone jack of the dock. You will be able to adjust the volume then.
I am having the same issue with my Eclipse radio with Sirius. I called my installer - Al & Ed's - this was the first that they have heard of this. This suggested that the unit be powered down - disconnected and reconnect the power - but warned me that all of the presets would be lost.
I am going to take it in and have them do that. I will re-post re the outcome.
