I assume you are saying the oven will not light but you can see the igniter glowing....if this is the case you will still need to replace the igniter, igniters need to be drawing a certain amperage before the will open the gas safety valve. in this case your igniter is glowing unevenly orange and is old - it is not pulling enough amps to open the valve. Replace it and you should be good to go.
