i did have one of a simmiliar model do just this same thing it turns out i hit the sensor float inside removable bucket part and knocked it out of its little hole it fits in , hence the it no longer connects with other part of overfill sensor thats buryed inside machine, so it allways says its full , i put the little float back in it's hole and now it works ok
I will advice you check the water bucket to see if it is full and empty the bucket in a
sink if needed. GE dehumidifiers have a safety feature that shuts down
the device when the water in the bucket reaches a certain level. Install the bucket correctly in the unit by hooking the slots on the
bucket on the posts on the back of the device. The dehumidifier will not
run if the bucket is not properly setup in the device.
Take care.
Hi, There are many reasons for a dehumidifier to not work or collect water. Here is a tip that I wrote to help people to figure out what is going wrong with their dehumidifier.
