When i type a sentence and make a mistake and want to add a new word into my sentence the space bar and any keys i touch type over my existing print. how do i correct this.

You need to toggle your overwrite/insert setting.
All you have to do is hit the "Insert" button on your keyboard. Hitting it once will set your type settings so that new text will be inserted instead of overwriting existing text. Hitting it again will toggle it back.

OVERLAPPING INSTEAD OF INSERTING.

Hi,
Even in Microsoft Word, you can choose if you want to insert or overwrite. You do it by pressing the INS key on the keyboad. As you do not reveal the identity of your calculator I can only provide a general solution.

If the keypad has a marking Ins about a key , you use it to insert either directly by pressing the key or as a Second/Shift function. Once toggled the Insert/Overwrite mode should persist until you toggle it to the other mode.
It is also possible that your CAS can be configured for the Insert/Overwite setting.

Hope it helps.

I hit some key and now when I try to insert letters between words instead of inserting it gobbles up the letters ahead of it.

You did not say which program you were using, but in most cases the "Insert" key on your keyboard toggles between the Insert and Overwrite functions of the software. Pressing the Insert key again shoudl fix your problem.

Letters print out cancelling other words

there is a feature on your computer to switch between "insert" which inserts words at the point of your cursor, without being destructive to other text, and "overwrite" mode, which replaces current words/text with what you type. in Microsoft Word or other word processing programs, you can see a small symbol representing either "INS or OVR" in the bottom status bar. to switch between these modes, press the "Insert" key on your keyboard (also labeled "Ins" on some keyboards), this toggles the insert/overwrite mode back and forth.
Good luck!

Edit Text on a picture after Adding it

no, text in an image is not saved as text, it is encoded to each pixel that it overwrites.
do not add text in camera, save the images to a hard disk and use a simple image editor, like irfanview http://www.irfanview.com, to do the text overlays, it has undo, you can use irfanview to pixel edit the text set image
