Question about Poulan 38-Inch Steel Deck 15.5 HP Briggs & Stratton I/C Engine With 5 Speed
Ours is a rental and the stupid company won't come get it to fix it, so we are trying to find out if we can do it ourselves. Everything sounds like its running great, can engage and disengage the blades, even feels like the gears are engaged, so I have no idea why it won't move.
One other thing to check is the "brake pad". Mine froze up on my craftsman riding mower and it did the same thing - it wouldn't budge.
It should be on the rear wheel - not very big though.

Hi, the is a blade belt AND a drive belt on these models. chances are your drive belt is broken or just off the pulleys. if you take the rear plate off the mower you will be able to see the drive belt directly under the seat.
