Screen doesn't work

Try turning the phone off and remove the battery. Wait about 30 seconds or so and put the battery back in and turn it on. This is one way to reset phones or devices with removable batteries.

Network adapter hp6505f

If your computer has a wireless network adapter, Windows will automatically detect wireless networks in range of your computer. You can see a list of wireless networks that Windows has detected in Connect to a Network.

  • Open Connect to a Network by clicking the network icon (eff2d36c-9e0d-4d1a-9859-3af14fa4ccfc_73.jpg or da12251d-1e9a-4032-afae-009876c6c5a3_80.jpg) in the notification area.

If Windows doesn't detect a network that you think is in range of your computer, it could be because of one of the following reasons:

  • The wireless switch on your computer is turned off.

Many laptops have a wireless switch on the front or side of the computer. If your computer has a switch, make sure it's turned on. Some computers also use a function key combination to turn the switch on or off. Check the information that came with your computer for details on locating the wireless switch.

  • Your computer is too far from the wireless router or access point.

Move your computer closer to the router or access point. If the computer is portable, try moving it around to determine the range of the wireless signal and the best place to use the computer.

If you can't get closer to the router or access point, consider buying and installing an external antenna for your wireless network adapter. Many wireless network adapters are set up so that you can attach an external antenna to them, which provides better reception than a built-in antenna. Check the information that came with your wireless network adapter to see if you can install an additional antenna.

  • The wireless router or access point is turned off or isn't working properly.

There are two things to try:

    • Make sure the router or access point is turned on and that the wireless signal light is illuminated.

    • Reset the router or access point by unplugging it, waiting at least 10 seconds, and then plugging it back in.

Wifi connection

The Lexmark X2600 printer does not support wireless connectivity because it doesn't have a wireless network adapter. Another indication that the printer does not support wireless connection is that it doesn't have a wireless medallion symbol in front of the printer used to indicate wireless signal.

Cant send sms but still can call

First make sure you have the SMS feature on your phone. Who's your wireless carrier? Sometimes the wireless carriers have network problems and interfere with sending messages. Also make sure person you are trying to message can also receive messages. You can turn cell off then on again and wait a bit and try again.I go through the same thing every now and then when person I am trying to message doesn't have any minutes on their phone.Just try again in a little while. Good Luck!

Power down your router and computer. Wait 15 seconds, then turn on the router first, then the computer. If this doesn't work, you can also try rebooting the modem as well. You will then need to power all three down, then start with the modem and wait a minute as it boots up and runs its auto-tests, then the router, then the computer.

Will not connect to the internet wired or wireless

Unplug your power from the modem first and after that unplug your power to your router, disconnect all your cat5 cables and wait for at least 20 secs. After 20 secs or so go ahead and plug your power back to your modem and wait until all the flashing green lights are solid and that the link light starts blinking. After that plug in your Routers power (You can also reboot your PC while this is going on) . Wait until all blinking lights becomes steady then re-connect your cat5 from the modem to your routers uplink and last the cat5 cable from the router to your PC. If you'd rather not test the direct connection then go ahead and switch your wireless on.

Your wireless connection properties on your PC under "Internet Protocol TCP/IP" should be set to "Obtain IP address automatically" and that "Obtain DNS server address automatically" should also be set. Your routers should, if not already, be set to automatic DHCP. Make sure that on your Device Manager > Network Adapters that your wireless network adapter is not disabled and that it has the correct driver (yellow exclamation on it indicates it needs correct driver). You should disable your integrated ethernet LAN card if you have enabled your wireless Network Adapter to avoid conflict.

On your Wireless Network Connection properties under "Wireless Network" tab go to "Preferred networks" and highlight your wireless network name (SSID) . After highlighting click on the "Advanced" button and select "Access Point (infrastructure only) networks only"
